Welcome to Bulgaria! Upon arrival at either Varna or Bourgas airport, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel. After checking in, you'll receive a special package filled with useful information, including a map of Bulgaria and vouchers. Spend the rest of the day exploring the pedestrian center of the town, visiting museums, or relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Varna or Bourgas.

After a hearty breakfast, drive south to the 'Pearl' of the Black Sea Coast - the Old town of Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its romantic cobbled streets and explore its numerous 13th-century churches. Then, head to the countryside and the Rose Valley. Stop in Kazanlak to visit the UNESCO-designated Thracian Tomb and the Rose Museum. Continue to Plovdiv, the European City of Culture for 2019. Overnight in Plovdiv.

Spend the day exploring Plovdiv at your own pace. Visit the Roman Amphitheatre and the Hindlyan House, a beautifully decorated house from the Bulgarian Revival period.
