They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Welcome to Sofia! Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you'll receive details about the start of your tour. At 3:00 p.m., embark on a city tour of Bulgaria's capital, exploring iconic landmarks such as the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Russian Church, the Mosque, and the city's squares and avenues known for their Stalinist architecture. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.

In the morning, we head to the serene Bachkovo Monastery, Bulgaria's second most significant monastery, established in the eleventh century. Afterward, we proceed to Plovdiv, where lunch is included. Our tour of this ancient city includes visits to the Roman Amphitheatre, the Old Pharmacy, and the Armenian House.

Today's journey takes us through the breathtaking Balkan Mountains. In the Rose Valley, we visit Kazanlak to see the replica of the Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then stop at the Shipka Memorial Church, a tribute to the Russo-Turkish War. After exploring the charming village and ethnographic museum of Etara, we head to Arbanasi to visit the Nativity Church. Our day concludes in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria's former capital, known for its picturesque medieval center.

We travel to Romania, stopping to visit the Basarbovski Monastery, a pilgrimage site carved into the rock. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.
