From Dubrovnik to Bosnia Discovery in 7 days

We commence our journey from your selected hotel, airport, or marina, heading towards the Croatian city of Ston, famed for its ancient walls and delectable seafood. After a leisurely stroll and a quick snack, we proceed to Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina's only coastal city. Our next stop is the quaint village of Blagaj, home to the historic Dervish Ottoman Monastery. Here, we pause for a late lunch or early dinner, depending on your preference. Our day concludes in Mostar, where you'll check into your hotel and enjoy some free time.

After breakfast, we set off for Medjugorje, a renowned Catholic pilgrimage site. Here, we visit the cathedral and, if you wish, climb the Mountain of the Cross, a significant part of any pilgrimage to Medjugorje. Our journey continues to the mesmerizing Kravica Waterfalls, where the clear river water cascades into a natural amphitheater. We then proceed to the fortified old town of Počitelj, where you can opt for a picturesque lunch overlooking the river. The day concludes back in Mostar, where you have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure.

Today, we either start with a morning walk in Mostar or head straight to Sarajevo, the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Known as the 'Jerusalem of Europe' due to its rich history of religious and cultural diversity, Sarajevo offers a unique blend of East and West. After the drive, you have the rest of the day to settle in, relax, and explore the city at your own pace.

After breakfast, we embark on a comprehensive exploration of Sarajevo's old town, visiting two fortresses that offer panoramic views of the city. We also take a ride on the recently renovated Trebević Cable Car, connecting the old city with the mountain. After a day of exploration, you have free time to enjoy the city's vibrant atmosphere before we return to Mostar.

Our day begins with a visit to Radimlja, where we explore the medieval tombstones known as 'stecak'. We then proceed to the old town of Stolac before heading to Vjetrenica Cave, one of the most significant caves in the Dinaric Alps. Depending on your preference, we can opt for a short or long excursion in the cave. We also visit the historic Zavala Monastery, where Saint Basil of Ostrog entered monasticism. Our day concludes in the city of Trebinje, where we'll be staying for the night.

After breakfast, we take a leisurely stroll through the charming old town of Trebinje. Later, we visit a renowned local winery, where you can sample some of the region's finest wines. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

On the final day of our tour, we visit the historic Tvrdos Monastery, renowned for its quality wine production. We then cross the border into Croatia and, depending on the weather, visit a beautiful beach for some relaxation and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Our journey concludes as we return to Dubrovnik, where we drop you off.
