Embark on an exhilarating five-day cycling tour that takes you from the enchanting city of Prague to the historical town of Karlstejn and back. This multi-day tour is a perfect blend of adventure, history, and natural beauty. You will cycle along the scenic Vltava and Berounka rivers, explore the limestone quarry of Velka Amerika, and visit the medieval town of Beroun. The tour also includes a visit to the impressive Koneprusy caves and the iconic Karlstejn Castle. With comfortable accommodations and a well-planned itinerary, this tour promises an unforgettable experience.

24 or 27 speed hybrid bike rental with pannier, handlebar bag, lock, helmet (on request) and one repair kit per room (e-bikes are available (without handlebar bag) on request - supplement applies)

You will receive your rental bike on the first day of the tour.
Minimum 24 speed hybrid bike with panniers, handlebar bag, lock and one repair kit per room. Note e-bikes are not fitted with handlebar bags
Rental helmets are available and are subject to availability. They are also available for purchase - pre ordered and paid. Helmets are compulsory for children under 18 years of age under Czech law, and for all guided tours.
Your rental bike is only available for the official cycle program and is not available for additional nights booked pre and post tour.
One person from your party should be able to:
- follow the map or the GPS
- change a flat tyre – a repair kit is provided (spare tube, tire levers, pump, multi wrench)

Own SPD pedals, saddle – you are welcome to bring your own pedals and/or saddle. Please bring also your own tools to make sure you can dismount it at the end of the tour.
Please take care of your bike. If the bike is stolen you will be charged 8000 CZK per bike, 30 000 CZK per e-bike. If your insurance does not cover this event, you will have to pay the costs yourself – please note that it is highly unusual for theft or damage to occur when bikes are well looked after and securely locked.
*For self guided tours a credit card guarantee is required on day one.

Accommodation will be in 3 star hotels on a twinshare basis with ensuite facilities. Three of the nights will be based in the same hotel in Karlstejn. There is the option to upgrade to 4 star hotels - a supplement applies.

Day 1 – Day 1: Prague to Karlstejn

Your adventure begins in the captivating city of Prague. After a brief welcome and bike adjustment session, you will embark on a leisurely ride along the Vltava and Berounka rivers to the historical town of Karlstejn. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day two takes you through the romantic countryside along the Berounka River, passing the historical limestone quarry of Velka Amerika. You will also visit the village of Sv. Jan pod Skalou, known for its 9th-century cave. The day concludes with a tour of the magnificent Karlstejn Castle.

On the third day, you will cycle to the medieval town of Beroun, passing through charming villages along the way. You have the option to visit the awe-inspiring Koneprusy caves. After lunch, explore the historic centre of Beroun before returning to Karlstejn along the picturesque Berounka River.

The fourth day sees you returning to Prague, cycling along a different trail along the Berounka and Vltava Rivers. Once back in the city, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the evening free to explore the city at your own pace.
