Embark on an unforgettable 8-day cycling journey through the heart of Europe. This multi-day tour takes you from the enchanting city of Prague to the vibrant city of Vienna, traversing through the picturesque landscapes of South Moravia and the wine-producing region of Austria. Along the way, you'll explore medieval towns, Renaissance squares, majestic chateaus, and tranquil spa resorts. The tour also offers an exciting opportunity to cycle through the national parks of Czech Canada and Dyje. Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or a wine enthusiast, this tour promises a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.

27 speed hybrid bike equipped with pannier, helmet, lock, handlebar bag and one repair kit per room (premium hybrid and e-bikes available, supplement applies)
Information pack including route notes and maps (per room booked)
GPX data and off-line maps for smartphones are available (in final documents)
Emergency hotline
You will receive your rental bike on the first day of the tour. Please take care of your bike. You are responsible for its security - if it is stolen or damaged you will be expected to pay for a replacement (currently: 8,000 CZK per bike, 30,000 CZK per e-bike). If your insurance does not cover this event, you will have to pay the costs yourself – please note that it is highly unusual for theft or damage to occur when bikes are well looked after and securely locked. You will need to provide your credit card details as a guarantee to our bike provider.
The rental includes:-
- 24 speed hybrid bike
- rear pannier and handle bar bag (handlebar bags not available for e-bikes)
- Lock
- repair kit (usually one per 2-3 people)
- Helmet - compulsory for children under 18 years of age under Czech law. Or you can purchase a bike helmet locally - please request this in advance.
Own SPD pedals, saddle: you are welcome to bring your own pedals and/or saddle. Please bring also your own tools to make sure you can dismount them at the end of the tour.
E-bikes, tag-a-long bikes for kids and toddler seats are also available for hire, for a supplement.
When you receive your bike, please take the time to adjust it to your requirements.
At least one person in your party should be able to change a flat tyre and follow the map or GPS. To change a flat tyre, we provide a repair kit (spare tube, tyre levers, pump, multi wrench). Detailed instructions are found at: https://www.bicycle-tours.cz/flat-tires

Your journey begins with a morning transfer from Prague to Cesky Krumlov, a well-preserved medieval town. Spend the rest of the day exploring the town at your own pace or opt for a warm-up cycle to Klet hill.

Cycle through the beautiful hilly landscape surrounding Cesky Krumlov towards Trebon, a Renaissance town famous for its spa resort. End your day with a visit to the Schwarzenberg Tomb.

Start your day with an optional tour of Trebon chateau. Cycle past numerous ponds and man-made lakes to Perslak, the most northern point of Austria. Continue your journey through the forests of Czech Canada National Park and end your day in the UNESCO-listed Renaissance town of Telc.
