Embark on an unforgettable multi-day tour through the heart of Central Europe, combining cycling adventures with cultural exploration. Starting in the historic city of Prague, you'll journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Czech Republic and Austria, visiting charming towns, UNESCO heritage sites, and renowned wine regions. Each day offers a unique blend of activities, from cycling through scenic trails to exploring medieval towns and relaxing in spa resorts. With comfortable accommodations and delightful local cuisine, this tour promises an enriching and exhilarating experience for all cycling enthusiasts.

7 breakfasts - continental breakfasts are served and will often consist of breads, spreads, yoghurt, cheese, tea, coffee & juices
3 dinners - these usually consist of 3 courses using local ingredients. The meals may be provided at a local restaurant or in the hotel dining room. Dinners are in Cesky Krumlov and usually Telc and Mikulov (subject to change). The guide will always recommend where to eat in other towns.

Refreshments in support vehicle (soft drinks, snacks, fruit) and water for bike flasks
You will receive your rental bike on the first day of the tour. Please take care of your bike. You are responsible for the security of the bike, if it is stolen or damaged you will be expected to pay for a replacement (currently: 8,000 CZK per bike, 30,000 CZK per e-bike). If your insurance does not cover this event, you will have to pay the costs yourself – please note that it is highly unusual for theft or damage to occur when bikes are well looked after and securely locked.
The rental includes:-
- 24 or 27 speed hybrid bike with a rear pannier and handlebar bag, lock
- Helmet - compulsory for children under 18 years of age under Czech law, and on this guided cycle trip
You are welcome to bring your own SPD pedals which we can mount on the bike.
E-bikes are also available for hire - supplement applies (a handlebar bag is not available on e-bikes)
Luggage Transfer, (can be 2 pieces but total weight max 20kg per person) supplement applies for excess
Pick up from selected hotels in Prague and transfer to Cesky Krumlov on day 1
Transfer on day 7 from either Poysdorf or Mistelbach to Vienna hotel

Begin your adventure with a transfer from a specified hotel in Prague to the enchanting town of Cesky Krumlov. Departing at approximately 9am, you'll have ample time to explore one of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns. Enjoy a welcome briefing with your group followed by a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.

Cycle through the scenic, hilly landscape surrounding Cesky Krumlov. As you approach Trebon, the terrain levels off, offering a picturesque ride through the countryside. Arrive in the Renaissance town of Trebon, known for its spa resorts. Visit the Schwarzenberg Tomb and enjoy an evening stroll around the charming town.

Start your day with an optional tour of Trebon Chateau. Cycle past numerous ponds and man-made lakes, characteristic of the region, towards Perslak, the northernmost point of Austria. Follow the Greenways trail through Nova Bystrice and the forests of Czech Canada National Park, ending your day in the UNESCO-listed Renaissance town of Telc.

Opt for a morning tour of Telc Chateau before cycling through several quaint villages typical of the South Moravia region. Enjoy a gentle ride through the countryside, concluding your day in the village of Vranov, located near a picturesque dam.

Cycle along the Greenways trail, following the Dyje River and the southern Czech border with Austria. This scenic route takes you through the stunning Dyje National Park, ending in the town of Znojmo, the gateway to South Moravia's wine region.

Explore the traditional vine-growing region of South Moravia, cycling through numerous wine cellars. Arrive in Mikulov, a town rich in history with a beautiful castle and historical square. Choose between a long or slightly shorter cycling route today. Check into your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy leisure time in the evening.

Cross the border at Mikulov and spend the rest of the day cycling through Austria. The landscape is similar to the Czech section, with vineyards, fields, and small villages. Experienced cyclists can reach Vienna by bike, while others will finish in Mistelbach and travel to Vienna by minibus. Overnight in Vienna (dinner not included).
