I enjoyed the course very much! We had a warm welcome, Bret was super nice and friendly. We prepared a traditional roasted duck with cabbage.
We enjoyed bread dumplings and dessert afterward. I recommend this place if you want to have a good time, meet other people, and learn about Czech cuisine :)

It was such a wonderful experience. The host made us feel very welcome and taught us a lot about Czech foods and traditions. I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect out of this experience but it really was much more than what I was hoping for. Thank you so much for our great experience!

Me and my husband had a brilliant time at the cooking class. We were met promptly by Brett at the meeting point and walked to his kitchen where he had every appliance and utensil we could possibly need, plus we started the lesson off with a beautiful glass of wine each. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, he made sure we each did a little bit of everything. The meal was traditional, simple and delicious! Our host made us feel very at home and welcomed. 5/5 would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys food and wants to get their hands stuck into traditional chech cuisine.

I and my Czech-Heritage daughter-in-law recently attended a cooking class at Good Mood Cooking School. It was an unforgettable experience. The school offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of old-fashioned Czech cooking. The Owner/Chef was knowledgeable and passionate about their Czech traditions. I highly recommend Good Mood Food. We cannot wait to return.

Bret was a fantastic host and teacher. The whole experience was so enjoyable for myself and my aunty, who both do a lot of cooking anyway. Bret was accommodating with menu, we tried delicious snacks and wine and learnt a lot from him. We were very grateful he still ran the course for just the two of us and we would both highly recommended visitors to the area to give it a try.

Had such a great time cooking with Bret! You can tell how proud he was to pass along generations of Czech and Moravian recipes and delicacies. He’s also quite funny and engaging which adds to the overall experience. It was just the two of us in the cooking class, which certainly leaned it self to it being a more personal experience. Can’t recommend it enough! So fun and delicious!

Great way to explore our heritage. Bret was a great host - not only with food but also with maps and history. We were immersed in food history for a great experience. Menu, appetizers, ambiance, and food were excellent. Gramma was from 1915 Slovakia and Bret took us there.
