Although I have been to this iconic spot a few times, I knew that once my partner uttered the question, "What shall we do in London today?" - my snap-back response just had to be "Why, the Tower of London, of course!". As it was his first time visiting, we raced through the subway like no tomorrow. Upon arrival, we joined the incredible Yeoman Warder Amanda "AJ" Clark (a legendary Beefeater) who took us on a tour around the site. She was incredibly informative, inspiring, and insightful - not to mention humorous. AJ ensured we all had an interactive experience that bought the history of The Tower to life. In general, you definitely need to dedicate an entire day to visit as their are so many nooks and crannies to explore! Absolutely loved it!

Nev was absolutely hilarious but then I have a tiny bit of sarcastic humor at times. That being said, it was very informative and fun.

We visited on a chilly but sunny day in February 2025. We started by going on one of the guided tours, which was brilliant. We then looked around ourselves, and, in total, we were there for over 3 hours. It's a fantastic day out. Lots of history.

Great day out, took a few hours to get around everything. Gary the Yeoman was our free tour guide, which began in the moat to the left of the entrance at 1pm which seemed to be an hourly thing. Very informative, interactive and funny with the crowd. There was a man in a wheelchair that Gary made sure was at the front of the crowd and made sure he could get up the stairs during the tour. There was an interactive room at the top of White Tower with a few shooting games though it was pretty busy with the rain. Guards changing and marching was fun to watch, and the Yeomen had a good laugh with each other. Lots of history to try and take in all at once but rather too much than too little.

Top class experience, highly recommended. The tour is guided by one of the Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters) with a great sense of humor.
Was a privilege to have AJ on the day we visited, who is only the second female Warder.
Cannot recommend it enough.

get there early it gets really busy , fabulous day , took about 2 hours for us , you can walk round yourself or guided or use headphones

Definitely worth the time. The Crown Jewels were next level cool. And this was an amazing castle to see. Different eras but historically so cool. Highly recommend
