The guide was excellent. We had no luck seeing the aurora but it was a fun, safe experience and we did get to see some beautiful spots.

Walter, Livia, Kai and Arthur were amazing - they did their best to show us the heavenly display despite the conditions not being ideal! Recommend strongly the photograph tour.

It was an awesome experience. They pick you up from your hotel and they drive about 20 min to get a clear view without any trees. The group was really small ( 5 people) and we were so lucky to see northern lights. The guide ( Alex) was so nice, took pictures, started a fire and gave us some sausages and cookies. However, it wasn’t 3 hours long as it said. Probably because we got to see the lights as soon as we got there, but just so you know it was about 2 hours including transportation. I would totally recommend this!

We had so much fun and amazing night on march 11,2022. Alex is very good, communicative, helpful and friendly Aurora guide! He has huge of aurora knowledge. They provide us high quality camera and took tons pictures of us.

I took this tour in March 11th and had a blast!! Couldn't have been better. Alex was super helpful and friendly. He helped us with the camera settings and took amazing pictures of everyone. The barbecue was a delightful bonus. I am really happy with this experience.

We did two tours with Nordic Adventures in February 2022. We did the three hour minibus tour on our second attempt to see the lights and the private hut tour on our first night (see my separate review for that tour!). We were fortunate to see the lights on our minibus tour which made our trip! We did not see them on our first night, The minibus tour started at 1930 which made it easy with kids since we got back to the hotel around 2230. We were a group of five and no one else joined our tour which was nice. We first drove about 10 minutes from Santa’s Village and stopped at a lake. It was a bit bright with a few groups there so we moved on pretty quickly another 20 minutes east. We went to another darker more secluded lake. There was one other small group there but otherwise it was very quiet. We were lucky to see the lights faintly at first and then off and on for a few hours at varying intensities. Our guide kindly took lots of family photos for us that we received via email a few days later. We had a fire with sausages and hot juice which is standard but really yummy and fun for the kids. We stayed in that location for the rest of the tour as we had a great view and didn’t need to move elsewhere.
We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. It was easy with kids and the company offers kid rates. We got a bit cold towards the end so dress seriously warmly! I was worried about spending a ton of time in the van but that was not the case which was a huge plus.
