Pompeii Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting from Positano

This was an all around amazing experience! From the hotel pick up directly to Pompeii through the end of the day was fantastic! Josie, our tour guide at Pompeii was knowledgeable, personable and made us feel like family. (Go early we were ending our tour and Pompeii was starting to get crowded!) After Pompeii we were driven to the winery, which was great! We were greeted with a glass of bubbles and warm smiles. We then got a mini tour of the property, followed by a delicious lunch. The red wine vinegar was to die for- we bought four bottles! Everyone was kind and accommodating. When the day was over our driver brought us right back to our hotel. The day was educational, fun, delicious and the logistics were seamless!

Tour was great. We were the only only two so it was private when we were expecting a group. Not complaining, but would have been more sociable with some company, especially at the wine tasting. Our guide was enjoyable and she presented the history of Pompeii exceptionally well. The company picked us up in an air conditioned Mercedes van at our hotel in Positano to start the day and transported us all the way to Pompeii to meet with her at the entrance of the Pompeii ruins. After the tour, she then handed us off to a different driver who took us to the winery on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius. Very enjoyable and fantastic wines with a memorable host. Once we were finished, we contacted the tour company and the original driver picked us up and carried us back to Positano. Overall, an enjoyable day and fun excursion.

What a wonderful and organized tour! Pompeii was so amazing and interesting!! Unbelievable how sophisticated the marble and mosaics and history uncovered. And the wine tasting and lunch delicious and well presented! Don’t miss out… this tour is so very special.

My husband and I had a great time on this tour. It was seamless, our driver Michele was excellent and friendly. We shared the ride with one other couple and then did our tour with a personal guide who was excellent. The wine tasting after was a treat and it was very nice to know we had a safe ride back to our hotel after. Would highly recommended booking this tour, beautiful !

Our driver and our tour guide were top notch!!! It was a very pleasant day. Michaela was very friendly and told us so much about the things we saw as we drove to our destination. His driving was the best we have had so far!

This was a great experience! They picked us up directly from our hotel. The actual tour itself was wonderful. Our guide, Sebastian, was knowledgeable and funny. It lasted just about 2 hours which was perfect in the heat. The lunch and wine tasting was delicious. I would do this again and recommend to our friends.

We had a great time! Our transportation with Michele was great and our tour guide for Pompeii, Robin, was fun and very knowledgeable. The wine tasting and lunch was delicious. From the time we were picked up to being dropped back off was seamless. We would recommend this over and over again!

From the pick up to the drop off couldn’t have had a better experience. Once we arrive Robin our tour guide was very knowledgeable, taking you back in time. The tour was around two hours. We left there headed to Cantina Del Vesuvius for the wine tasting. The wine and food was delicious! We weren’t going to buy anything we told our selves before we arrived and ending up shipping wine back to the states. This tour and trip is definitely something you’ll want to do.

Sebastian was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He moved us along to key points in Pompeii so we kept to our timetable. The wine tour and lunch were excellent. Great food and ambience. Would highly recommend this tour package.
