Ronda and White Villages Day Trip from Seville

This was the best day trip from Seville! We were able to see three towns we would not have seen otherwise, and Carlos was a great guide! He gave us local recommendations and answered any questions we had. He was calm and knowledgeable. Definitely a deal of a tour!

What a fabulous day. Carlos picked us up on time and looked after us from start to finish. His driving and knowledge was superb and he answered all our questions with confidence. The White villages are just beautiful and we were pleased we visited Zahara first as it was really quiet and we could really appreciate its beauty without hoards of crowds. Sentinel was really interesting although did need a lot of walking up some steep steps. However, we were able to stay and wait at the bottom which we were pleased about. We were in a small group of 4 (maximum is 8) and that worked really well. All in all a fabulous tour, thanks to Carlos.

Excellent trip with our wonderful guide Carlos from Rutasur Andalusian Nature! Booked it last minute (the night before). The company was so accommodating when I requested to sit in the front of the minivan due to my motion sickness…and they were able to guarantee me a seat in the front. The other organization (Naturalanda) was unable to accommodate me after booking the tour, so I cancelled that tour. Rutasur Tour company was comparable in price and was extremely responsive. It was a small intimate group in a minivan for 8 guests pllus driver, so we were able to travel to parts of the white villages that tour buses could not access. This tour is more of a relaxed tour and akin o traveling on a private tour. If you are looking for a super organized trip with lots of facts and history being shared, this is not that tour. Carlos was both our driver and guide and provided us with enough information and time so that we could explore on our own….and even provided us with additional time to explore so we didn’t miss anything. We visited the beautiful white villages of Zahara de la Sierra (and had coffee/breakfast) and walked around, and then went on to Setenil de las Bodegas, a magical village where the homes are built into the rocks. The last stop was Ronda, which has spectacular views and is known for it’s bridge. There’s a hike down, which we didn’t think we’d have enough time to do…but wish we had as it’s doable. Highly recommend this tour with Rutasur and ask for Carlos!!

This trip is the highlight of our visit to Spain. Carlos was our guide. He was very friendly, enthusiastic, attentive and energetic. Being this only a group of 6 we could make our personal requests and visit places in our own pace whilst guided by Carlos. The highlights are delicious breakfast in Zahara de la Sierra, visiting authentic house in Setenil de las Bodegas, short walk to see the bridge and the waterfall in Ronda (in our own time) and the changing, stunning landscape on the way to villages. Carlos seemed to know everyone and really made this trip even more special to us.

We highly recommend the tour. Our guide Carlos was accomodating, friendly and made the trip so very enjoyable. The scenic drive was lovely and well worth taking a day to see three stunning Spanish gems. Thank you Carlos! We enjoyed the trip so much that we took another day trip with Carlos to Cordoba, which was also a beautiful place to see.

This is a must go tour, Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The places we went were beautiful and charming. Our strongly recommend this tour as we had the most wonderful experience.

Luis was a wonderful guide and driver. He was full of information about Ronda and the White Villages and the area in general. He picked us up exactly on schedule and the van was comfortable and spotless. First stop Zahara, for a nice walk around the pretty little town. Then Setenil, with homes built into the rock, was like nothing we'd ever seen before, wow! Then Ronda - just amazing. After seeing the Ronda bridge in so many photos, it was quite an experience to actually be there in person. A day well spent, and so much better than renting a car and trying to do it on our own! We definitely recommend.

This was the perfect day tour. We had enough free time to explore the 3 stops. Claudia was a great guide and driver. She was very helpful, provided interesting facts throughout the tour and great suggestions for lunch. We had a wonderful time.
