Amazing!

This was an unexpected treat for us. We book this ahead of time thinking it was just going to be a normal, run of the mill hike. It was MUCH more than that. We went up Mount Ulía and headed to San Pedro via the Camino de Santiago which is an old religious pilgrimage. I'll let you look it up instead of me telling you about it and butchering it but there are bits of this trail in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. If you go to the visitors Center you can get a passport and have it stamped as you hike these trails. It was a really fun and interesting experience that our guide (I feel terrible that I can't remember her name! Alua or Arua maybe? But we LOVED her!) told us all about during our 6 mile hike. The hike isn't difficult although there are some parts that are a bit more challenging than others. But I would still rate it as any age can make it. And at the end we went to a bar in San Pedro for some Pintxos and cider! I would absolutely do this hike again. It was a nice little break from the city and shopping and we got some much needed exercise after days of eating and drinking.

Amazing!

Walking the Camino is an enriching experience any time and any place. This part of the Camino is filled with a silent beauty unlike other more populated stages. Our guide was very knowledgeable and encouraging on difficult terrain.

Amazing!

This hike was very challenging.

Parts were moderatly verticle, parts were potentially dangerous do not expect railings, parts of the hike were a sure drop.

Yes you will climb a mountain. The views are spetacular,it will take the average of 4 hours! Add significate degree of difficulty if its raining.!

Hiighly suggest good hike shoes and walking sticks not for the faint hearted

Please take your time and enjoy the experience.

We had a great guide who took great care and patience.

Amazing!

My wife and I brought her 74 year old father on this hike. We were concerned about this as many of the reviews indicated that it could be strenuous (particularly the first hour or so of step climbing (my watch said we did 75 flights!). He found the hike to be challenging (as we all did) but also very rewarding. The guide (and other two guests) was very accommodating. She (Begonia) worked in many stops and took the opportunity to tell us about the details of the trail, pilgrims, local culture and history. The views were amazing! We highly recommend this tour and this guide!

Amazing!

Begonia, our guide, was lovely in every way-patient, a problem solver, good conversationalist, knowledgeable, and had a life long true love of the area. We had a terrific time with her. It misted a bit and rained at the end and we still had a ball. I absolutely recommend this experience.

Amazing!

I have always wanted to do a part of the camino de Santiago walk. And this is a moderately easy 3-4 hrs hike. Do apply sunscreen, bring hat and walking stick
