Connemara and Galway City Day Tour from Dublin

I recently took a trip withmy partner to Connemara and Galway, and it was an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our driver, Ian. The journey was not only scenic and beautiful but also incredibly fun and informative.

Ian's knowledge of the area is impressive, and he shared fascinating stories and historical insights throughout the trip. His humor kept us all entertained, making the long drives between stops feel short and enjoyable.

From the stunning landscapes of Connemara to the vibrant atmosphere of Galway, every part of the trip was well-planned and enriching. Ian's passion for the region truly shone through, adding a personal touch to the tour.

I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. And if you’re lucky enough to have Ian as your driver, you’re in for a fantastic time!

It was great visiting the Glengowla Mines and Galway City. Besides that, there was a fair in Galway, and I had the oportunity to buy nice gifts.

Amazing day trip to the City of Galway and the Glengowla mines. Josh was a very knowledgeable tour guide and Riccardo a great driver. Was the highlight of the week away.

We enjoyed Galway and the sheep dog demo. The scenery was lovely. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area and was very friendly.

Our tour guide, I forget his name but he hailed from Portugal, was very entertaining. His talk was informative and filled with humor. The drive through Connemara National Park was the highlight of the tour.

Had a great experience and an amazing (and funny) driver/guide. Jackie is the absolute best and we definitely had THE CRAIC! Super knowledgeable about Ireland - the different regions - and of the areas visiting and even talked about his experiences growing up in/near Cork. Great photo ops and mother nature cooperated with 50 degree fahrenheit and sunny partly cloudy skies - even our driver/guide Jackie was taking pictures because he said he's never had the weather so beautiful. He even sent us all the pictures to us afterward! He mentioned to us that this particular tour is not typically one of the most popular. Honestly I do not know why not. The countryside is absolutely stunning and the we had a good group of passengers who asked great questions which Jackie was able to answer. I know this review seems so over the top - but we really had a great time. We even had a problem while on the way back to Dublin which required us to get off at the next immediate exit. Jackie was able to take care of the problem quickly and without any alarm to the rest of the tour passengers. We were back on the road without much delay. Also, Jackie gave us some insight on where to go eat/drink and what to see when we were dropped off. Warning to some - there is a lot of driving on this tour with the main stops in Cong and Galway totaling about 3 hours but several stops along the way for the photo ops. To me the time was well spent and the knowledge gained with the experience. 5 "stars" on this Paddywagon. I'll be back when I'm in Dublin again.

Excellent day trip. We were so lucky to have Darren as our tour guide. He made sure we saw every bit of the countryside and introduced us to locals along the way. He was so much fun and knowledgable! Paddywagon is always the way to go!

We had a really good time travelling and experience this tour despite the weather.

The guide was extremely good and knowledgeable about Dublin and its history. Big thanks to Jacky (sorry if spelt wrong) and his great sense of humor which was a huge plus to this trip !
