Full day Shore Excursion to Florence from Livorno with tasting

It's a long day but worth it!

Sabrina, our tour guide was excellent and very helpful. She even provided us with a highlighted map of Florence with the main sights. She explained the best places to go see and the best walking route to take.

Also in Pisa, since I was having issues walking and the trolley that takes people back to the parking area wasn't working, she was able to get me a taxi to return to the parking lot where the bus was waiting to drive us back to the ship. .

By the way, instead of dropping us off in Livorno to grab the bus into the port, Paolo and she took us directly to the ship, making our return so much easier!

I hope that if you do this tour, you get Sabrina as your tour guide and Paolo as your driver. 100% recommend!

This was my first trip to Florence. Could not ask for a better tour guide- Igna. He was attentative to our need. As four of us did not prebook admission to Accademia to see David. He helped us with the purchase plus showed us the door to quick admission. He also looked after another couple who wanted to climb the Duomo Tower- showed them where to purchase the tickets plus showed them there. The tour we picked did not include the tour guide walking with us through all the various sites. Yet Igna put in extra effort including folding our city map in a way for easy reference plus all the iconic attractions highlighted. He is thorough and takes pride with his work. We also learned about the city's significance and its history while being driven from Livorna to Florence. Both meeting point and pickup point were easy to locate. The service we received from Igna that day made up for the rain we experienced that day.

Our tour guide Sabrina was a delight, funny, informative, attentive and helpful. Our driver Ricardo, was excellent and helpful. I loved the tasting at the Food Market and Sabrina’s recommendation for a typical Tuscan lunch. She had provided everyone with a marked map to all the sights and the meeting point. It was through her fault at all for me getting lost on the way back to the meeting point. The map was well detailed, unfortunately the street signs were difficult to find and in many cases too hard to read, as they were faded. I did ask for directions from a nice young man at a cafe. I had walked right past the meeting point. Also, I use a rollator and it’s not easy to do on the uneven cobble stone streets, without ramps down and off the sidewalks. Also access to buildings for people using mobility devices is difficult, as again not many ramps.

Absolutely wonderful guided tour. Our guide, Sabrina, was the most delightful and entertaining guides we’ve ever had. She was so intelligent, helpful, well prepared and had an excellent command of the English language. Our tour from Livorno to Florence was one of the highlights on our cruise.

Academia galleria was great and had a timed entry in advance. Did not have a timed entry for anything else. Was hard to determine sine we did not know arrival and departure times.

What a great day. Sabrina did a magnificent job showing us the grand architecture of Florence and Pisa.

Sabrina was an excellent tour guide, gave us so much interesting information and kept us in time to see everything we wanted to see. Very well organized even though we were a big group. We had a great time in Firenze and Pisa.

Perfect tour for being on a cruise ship. We didn’t do too much walking but enough. Plus we had some free time to explore and shop.

Excellent guide Gabri and bus drivers. Very punctual and brought us back to the ship good value tour would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Florence.

Highly recommend this tour. Much of it is a walk-through on your own to discover the sites, sounds and tastes of Florence. Great experience and out of this world food and wine. This was our best excursion of the 9 we booked on our 10 day cruise. Do not miss the opportunity to book this tour, you will not regret it!
