Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini!

It was a fun experience. Both hosts were fun, the cooking was informative and interesting, and we learned about the cultural history of the island. Lunch, particularly the tomato fritters, was excellent.

We had a fabulous time and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! It was fun to meet other travelers and the recipes were all so doable one we returned home. Definitely a memory we will enjoy always!

I love the idea of the recipes being old and traditional. I enjoyed learning how the women cooked these recipes so long ago.

This cooking class was a blast! We learned about the roots of cooking in Greece and got to experience it first hand. Our chef was amazing and made this such a fun experience. We can’t wait to take our recipes back home. I highly recommend and the food was delicious!

The whole experience was great! The chef and hostess were really nice people, the instructions were clear and well organized, the cave house was clean and quaint, the food was excellent, and the wine was good. It was a great time with friends, and an enjoyable Greek experience. I am still waiting for the email with the recipes and hoping they will send them soon, so I can make them at home.

A must-do in Santorini!

The food was amazing, and Eleanor and Alexandra were fantastic hosts for this class! We got to assist in the kitchen while also preparing our own meals. Highly recommend!

To Spikito Mas was an excellent hands on cooking experience where we learned how to make a traditional 5-course Santorini dinner. The location is tucked away in Megalochori in a beautiful kitchen. The staff was very knowledgable, fun, and capable of elevating anyone’s cooking knowledge. My husband and I fancy ourselves as good cooks, and there were some amateurs in our class as well, and everyone was able to leave that class having learned something new. It doesn’t hurt that the food itself that we prepared was fantastic, and the wine was plentiful! Finally, the staff emailed us the recipes which we’re extremely excited to recreate at home for our family and friends!

What a treat! The afternoon experience lead by hostess Eleanor and chef Alexandra was delightful. They were both personable and welcoming. Chef Alex was a bundle of energy and did an outstanding job of engaging the members of our large group. And or food tasted good, too!

One caution, there is quite a bit of standing, so be prepared for that. There are chairs you can use but you’ll miss out on some of the cooking experience.

The class was a lot of fun. The host and cook was very passionate about her family recipes. She shares about traditional cooking and how things have changed over the years. Highly recommended this experience!
