We were looking for someone who knew Sintra, speaks English, has their own car and has a pleasant personality. We found all of this in Maria. Highly recommended.

Maria Fatima is an excellent tour guide. She’s very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and culture. Her explanations were very clear and she patiently answered all of our questions in great detail. She spent about 6 hours with us and drove us to see various beautiful sights including the westernmost point in Europe. Plus, she was very friendly had a great sense of humor.

We had the best day tour of Sintra with Maria. She went above and beyond to make the whole day fun and easy… we saw everything we wanted to see and didn’t have to worry about anything! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I highly recommend her tours, and will gladly take another tour with her again.

A lovely tour , very nice to avoid the busy buses and get information about the palace and other sites we drove past. Maria was very friendly and helpful, giving great information about the town.

Maria and her team took a lot of time to customize the tour to our needs. They were always on time, the transportation was very comfortable.

Francesco and Maria are a dynamic couple that really care about their clients! They live in the town so can show you all the shortcuts that big companies can’t - you could be stuck in lines and traffic jams… but with them you always have a solution. In our case, a bus went the wrong way so it slowed access to one of the palaces but no worries with this tour, we went up a different way and had a lovely short walk-through the forest to get there faster. Also a tip Francesco gave me about the queue in Pena Palace was spot on and saved me time & frustration.. Lots more you will find out along the tour… enjoy!

Tour was a complete package . Francisco showed up before time and escorted us to every location delicately and on time . He respected our comfort as it was raining and provided us with umbrellas and ponchos . Francisco went over the history of each location before we explored which made it so much more authentic .

Our tour started in Lisbon and we visited Pena castle and the famous well castle . We got to see the coastline from its highest point and even though the weather wasn’t completely on our side , the experience with had was 5 star

I recommend this tour !

I would say it says 5 hours but it’s a 7 hour day .

We began our private tour from the airport to the hotel to the many great parks/palaces of Portugal. Our personal tour guide Francisco and the coordinating leader Maria were all a big help. We had a private day tour to Sintra and Cascais with our guide Francisco. Our family enjoyed the tour very much and felt like we saw so much in the time we were together. It is crucial to work with a local guide like Francisco as Sintra is very confusing and difficult to navigate on your own or even with an Uber. Also, he was very knowledgeable being an experienced guide and a local. It was so nice to hop in and out of a private car at the various pick up points. He knew all the tips for us to navigate the lines inside the palaces. Ending the busy day with incredible views of the ocean was certainly a highlight for us. Thank you Francisco!
