Matthieu was an excellent guide for this tasting. I ended up being the only person that day but Matthieu was extremely passionate and willing to explain and answer every question I had. He also made some excellent recommendations on what to do in dijon itself. Overall it was an excellent testing experience and I came away feeling I had learned about Burgundy.

We really enjoyed our "class" and his knowledge of the wines of Burgundy. This was a great introduction to actually taking a trip to a winery. He even helped us get transportation after the event.

I had a fantastic time and learned a lot from how to taste wine, to how to read a french wine label, to the different grapes in burgundy, to how to tell if a wine has gone bad. The tasting was very interactive and we tried 6 different wines, all paired perfectly with different cheeses and meats. There was something for everyone in this tasting from beginner to advanced level!

This Master class is a must if you want to understand the culture of wine making in Burgundy. The way of classifying and grading wines in this region is quite unique and very different from California and Toscana wines. We started our tour of Burgundy from this class in Dijon, and it gave us great tools to navigate through the area and enjoy multiple wine tastings. Strongly recommend.
