Amazing!

Was I lucky this day, with glorious weather and the rare view of a cloud-free Nevis! This was a thoroughly enjoyable cruise made more so by our affable and fun skipper, Karl. He was a veritable mine of information and I learned SO much from his many narrations on the trip. One of the highlights was getting close to 'seal island' - all passengers were quieter than mice, as instructed, so as not to upset the mums and pups. I highly commend this tour for both pleasure and widening your knowledge of Scotland.

Amazing!

Fantastic experience. The crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The trip was interesting and some great points of views were highlighted. I’ve been on a few boat tours before and I’d have to say this was the best. Well worth booking! It’s also quite small with the number of people onboard, so that adds to the experience.

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing experience.

The crew were fab. The captain pointed out a lot of landmarks and was telling us a lot of history whilst in the tour.

It was amazing seeing the seals and hearing all the history.

Amazing!

I booked this as part of an 80th birthday trip for my Dad. It was brilliant. Given it was October we were lucky with the weather. However, there was a lovely cabin for shelter. The commentary was so informative and there was a wonderful view of the seals. We learned about wildlife, fish farming, geology and history. Would highly recommend.

Amazing!

Took the cruise today with Carl and Dara, the Dunara boat crew. Not just a cruise along the beautiful Loch too take photos, but really informative, about all aspects of the Local area, covering interesting facts of history, geography, commerce. Great way to spend s couple of hours and you can even buy a nice hot drink and snacks on board. Would recommended good solid flat shoes and the boat is on 2 levels.

Great information and stops for photo opportunities/ interesting wildlife sitings. Highly recommended cruise, Thanks for a great afternoon ! 👍

Amazing!

We went on the 1 o’clock trip today as a family of 4( 2 adults and 2 teenagers) We all really enjoyed it and would definetly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and we particularly enjoyed the information provided about the area. We saw the seals and their pups on the rock which was great. It’s a really good way to take in the gorgeous scenery. Thank you

Amazing!

A very enjoyable and well run round cruise trip. Really refreshing to be a passenger on a vessel with a genuine ly enthusiastic and friendly crew. The trip was truly memorable and well worth its cost. George our skipper was charmingly natural in his delivery of information about the sights on Loch Linnhe and whilst Im sure he could easily have read from a script or played a recording by way of commentary, it was a thousand times better that he mentioned items which seemed to have just occured to him. Despite the beautiful weather having hot drinks available in October was also a definite bonus!

One thing, having been on many similar tourist trips, it is often the case that in making their farewell speech, operators mention that they do not get paid for providing their commentary and that therefore if anyone appreciated the incites, tips are welcome. Neither George nor his crew did this, which I hugely respected them for, however there didnt appear to be anywhere obvious to make a modest donation in appreciation of the crew's efforts, whilst approaching George or his enthusiastic colleague directly with a small(ish) token of appreciation in front of other disembarking passengers somehow didnt seem appropriate! Sorry guys you missed out on my intended tip ...perhaps you could have a discrete "tips" pot for those who genuinely wish to make a donation but appreciate not feeling compelled to do so?! I certainly felt you had earned a gratuity - but am now feeling guilty that I failed to give you one...!
