Alexandra was amazing! She combined the food tour with a bit of a history lesson about Bordeaux. We especially appreciated the final stop, at a fromagerie where we sampled charcuterie, cheese and wine. She was very knowledgeable and was clearly focused on making our experience exceptional. She even followed up the next day with local restaurant recommendations. 10 out of 10.

A fantastic experience throughout! After booking, I was immediately contacted with very helpful information in such a friendly and professional manner. My guide, Alexandre was excellent and was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about Bordeaux and gastronomy. He was very attentive to my interests and was fun to be with. The tour was given at a good and relaxed pace that allowed it to be truly immersive, with much stories and history intertwined. I learned a great amount from Alex’s insights while seeing the sights and sampling delicious food. After the tour, he gave me plenty of recommendations for restaurants to visit and they did not disappoint. It was a great way to begin my time visiting Bordeaux and I highly recommend this experience.

What a great way to discover some of Bordeaux’s history and fabulous food. We had a lovely time and Alex was a wonderful host who went way out his way to incorporate all the food allergies our small group had in order that everyone could enjoy the tour without exception. Highly recommend but don’t eat breakfast beforehand 😂

My fiancée and I were lucky to have Diane the founder of Bordeaux in Bites take us to some lovely places in a very charming part of Bordeaux. Her energy and depth of knowledge were beyond compare, and we have made sure to tell all of our friends back home about the special spots we visited during the tour. We are so glad to have done this on our first full day in the city, as it helped us get a sense of the area and to get tips on where to go for the following days. Can't recommend enough!

Great tour. We went to different shops to select bread, cheese , meats and learnt about the city as we went . We then headed to a wine bar to try the food paired with wine. Alex was a great host
