Christmas in Provence and the Rhône Valley

Your journey begins in the beautiful city of Lyon, where you'll board our ship at 6:00 p.m. Once you've settled into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew over a welcome cocktail before dinner. As the evening unfolds, enjoy a mesmerizing cruise through the illuminated districts of old Lyon, a historical site that is sure to captivate you.

Day two takes us on a scenic cruise along the Rhône River to the charming town of Viviers. Here, we'll explore on foot, taking in the town's exceptional architecture and smallest cathedral in France. In the afternoon, we'll head to Montélimar, a town renowned for its nougat since the 17th century. We'll visit a nougat confectioner for a delightful tasting session before returning to Viviers. The day concludes with a gala dinner and evening.

On the third day, we'll cruise to Avignon, a city rich in historical heritage. Our tour will take us through the city center, where we'll admire the Town Hall and a 19th-century theater. We'll then visit the Papal Palace, the city's most important monument, where we'll explore the staterooms, chapels, private apartments, and terraces offering a stunning view of Avignon and the Rhône River. The day concludes with a festive Christmas Eve dinner and evening.
