Cycling Champagne and Burgundy

Start your day with a bike ride through the rolling hills and vineyards of Montagne de Reims, home to the famous Pinot Noir grapes. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the forests and the extensive national park. In the evening, return to Reims for a visit to a renowned champagne producer and a delightful tasting session.

Today, we'll cycle to Hautvillers, the legendary birthplace of champagne. Discover the charming town of Châlons en Champagne, known for its medieval and Gothic churches and half-timber houses. Enjoy the scenic route along the Canal latéral à la Marne and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of these enchanting towns.

Today, we venture into the beautiful region of Burgundy. After breakfast, we'll shuttle to the charming town of Semur-en-Auxois, perched on a hill overlooking the Armançon river. Enjoy exploring the town before we embark on a bike ride through forests and quaint villages to Saulieu.

Spend the day at your leisure in Saulieu or embark on a cycling adventure into the lake region of the Morvan Natural Park. The park offers scenic walks around the lake, beautiful gardens, and a fascinating insight into the French Resistance. Enjoy the tranquility of the pastures, Christmas tree farms, and authentic villages along the way.

Today, we leave Morvan Park for a day filled with castles. Visit the historic Commarin Castle and the charming town of Châteauneuf, home to a stunning medieval castle. We'll end the day in the quaint village of Sainte Sabine, where we'll spend the night in a castle. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and a special dinner prepared by an award-winning chef.

Today, we'll cycle along the famous Canal de Bourgogne to Dijon, the capital of the Burgundy wine region. Dijon is known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and delicious cuisine. Spend the afternoon exploring the city and its wide array of cafés and restaurants. We'll end the day with a delightful dinner together.
