We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Day 1 – Day 1: Paris to Tours

Your Europamundo journey begins in the city of love, Paris. In the late afternoon, we will depart for Tours, the regional capital of the Loire Valley. Upon arrival, we recommend you take a leisurely stroll and enjoy a delightful dinner in the beautiful historic downtown.
Day 2 – Day 2: Tours to Bordeaux and Lourdes

Today, we journey south through fragrant vineyards to Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring the city and having lunch, we continue towards the Pyrenees, arriving in Lourdes in the late afternoon. Here, you can attend the candle procession and visit places of worship. Dinner is included at the hotel.

We journey through the south of France, stopping in Carcassonne, a city surrounded by Europe's most beautiful walls. After lunch, we continue to Narbonne, where you can explore the historic Occitan city. In the late afternoon, we arrive in Marseille, France's second city. We recommend a walk through its vibrant 'Vieux port', full of life and small restaurants.

Today, we explore some of the most beautiful places in Provence. We visit Arles, a world heritage city, and Les Beaux, a small medieval village where we include admission to the Carrieres de Lumiere, an impressive show of art, image, and sound. After lunch in Avignon, we continue to Lyon, where we include a cable car ride to Notre Dame de Fourviere, offering a great view over the city.
Day 5 – Day 5: Lyon to Tournus, Beaune, and Dijon

We depart from Lyon and head to the Burgundy region, stopping at Tournus, a quaint town with an imposing stone gate and a large abbey. We then travel to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, where you can visit the wine museum or the historic hospice. Next, we visit the 15th-century Castle of Savigny before continuing to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, known for its lively streets and numerous medieval and Renaissance buildings.
Day 6 – Day 6: Dijon to Besançon, Colmar, Riquewihr, Ribeauville, and Strasbourg

We continue our journey through the Burgundy region, stopping in Besançon, a city of Roman origin with a beautiful historic center. We then head towards Alsace, stopping in Colmar, known for its unique architecture, colorful wooden houses, and canals. In the afternoon, we visit the picturesque towns of Riquewihr and Ribeauville before arriving in Strasbourg in the evening. We suggest walking through the cathedral area and Petite France, full of charming places and small restaurants.
Day 7 – Day 7: Strasbourg to Freiburg, Triberg, Gengenbach, and Baden-Baden

We start the day in Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, where we include a boat trip through the canals of Petite France. We then head to Germany, stopping in Freiburg, a university city with a medieval center. We continue to Triberg, known for its cuckoo clocks, where we include admission to the Triberg Falls, the highest in Germany. We end the day in Baden-Baden, a spa city that attracted nobles and upper bourgeoisie from all over Europe.

We leave Baden-Baden and head to Speyer, where you can visit the great Romanesque cathedral, a World Heritage Site. We then continue to Heidelberg, where we include a cable car to its impressive castle, offering great views over the city. After lunch, we arrive in Frankfurt, a large financial city known for its modern skyscrapers, old town, views over the Rhine River, and well-known nightlife.

Today, we travel to Luxembourg, a cosmopolitan city that combines a rich history with the modernity of being a financial center and headquarters of European institutions. After lunch, we head to France, stopping in Reims, where you can see its impressive Gothic cathedral. We arrive in Paris at the end of the day.
