They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

We'll depart early from Paris towards Normandy. Our first stop will be Giverny, where we'll visit Monet's House and its stunning gardens. Our final stop will be Caen, where you'll have some leisure time to explore the central district.

Today, we'll head to Angers, where you can visit the castle that houses the largest medieval tapestry about the Apocalypse. We'll then continue to the Loire Valley, stopping at Tours for lunch. Our day begins with a stroll from Amboise to the Clos Lucé mansion, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last three years. Today, we'll explore Bordeaux, a World Heritage Site known for its 'Water Mirror' and charming pedestrian streets. We'll travel through the south of France, stopping in Carcassonne, a city surrounded by Europe's most beautiful walls. After lunch, we'll continue to Narbonne, where you'll have free time to explore this historic Occitan city. At the end of the afternoon, we'll arrive in Marseille, France's second city. We recommend a walk through its vibrant 'Vieux port', full of life and small restaurants.

Today, we'll explore some of the most beautiful places in Provence. We'll visit Arles, a world heritage city, and Les Baux, a small medieval village. We'll also visit the Carrieres de Lumiere, an impressive show of art, image, and sound underground. After lunch and a stroll in Avignon, we'll continue to Lyon, where we'll take a cable car to Notre Dame de Fourviere for a great view over the city.

We'll set off from Lyon and head to the Burgundy region. We'll stop at Tournus, a quaint little town with an imposing stone gate and a large abbey. After that, we'll travel to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. We recommend you to visit the wine museum or the historic hospice. Next, we'll visit the Castle of Savigny, situated in the heart of this winemaking region. We'll end the day in Dijon, the capital of Burgundy.
