Begin your French adventure in the vibrant city of Marseille. Make sure to arrive by 3 pm to board your Suite Ship®. As the evening descends, we set sail for Arles, where we'll dock overnight. A delicious dinner awaits you on board.

Start your day with a power walk in Arles or attend a painting workshop inspired by Vincent van Gogh. Explore the city's captivating sights, including the Roman Amphitheater. Take some free time to enjoy a glass of wine at Le Café Van Gogh before we sail to Avignon. In the evening, unwind with live jazz entertainment on board.

Discover the fortress city of Avignon with a guided sightseeing tour. Visit the magnificent Palace of the Popes and take memorable photos of the medieval Pont Saint-Bénézet. Optional excursions to the ancient Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard or the famed wine cellars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape are available. Enjoy live entertainment on board in the evening.

Enjoy a leisurely morning sail to Viviers. Choose between a guided walking tour of the charming village, exploring its Romanesque cathedral and Old Town, or a more active hike up to the cathedral with your Adventure Host. As the day winds down, we set sail for Tournon.

Explore Tournon on foot or join a guided walking tour to discover one of France's oldest medieval cities. Enjoy jazz entertainment on board as we sail to Vienne. Upon arrival, join a guided walk through this charming French hill town, and in the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the well-known Vienne Jazz Festival.

Survey Lyon from Fourvière Hill and explore the Old Town's medieval alleyways. Enjoy the lively cafés, monuments, and the famed fountain of Place des Terreaux. In the evening, delight in the strains of Gypsy Jazz, a style of jazz that originated in France, as we cruise to Tournus.

Travel into the rolling landscapes of the Mâconnais region, renowned for its world-famous Chardonnay vineyards. Attend a wine-tasting in the cellars of a real medieval castle. Later, enjoy a delicious Cheese Tasting on board as we sail to Chalon-sur-Saône.

Drive to Beaune and visit the Hôtel-Dieu Charity Hospital, a masterpiece of French architecture. In the afternoon, take a high-speed train from Dijon to Paris, where you'll board your Suite Ship®. We'll cruise to Vernon and dock there overnight.

Explore Vernon's Chateau des Tourelles or take a guided tour of Giverny, the home of Claude Monet. Alternatively, visit Bizy Castle, known as 'Normandy’s Versailles'. Enjoy a traditional French luncheon on board, followed by a pastry demonstration. In the afternoon, we cruise to the picturesque town of Les Andelys. Choose between a guided hike to the castle ruins of Château Gaillard or a walking tour of Les Andelys before we set sail for Caudebec.

Enjoy a relaxing bike ride along the river or take a guided trip along the Normandy Abbeys Route, home to more than 100 medieval Benedictine and Augustine abbeys and churches. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit the old seaside town of Honfleur. We'll dock overnight in Caudebec.

Join a guided tour of Normandy's WWII landing beaches or take a full-day guided tour of the British and Canadian commemorative sites. Alternatively, join 'A Taste of Normandy' guided tour for an in-depth look at this rich agricultural region. Visit the famous Bayeux Tapestry and taste Calvados at a local distillery. In the evening, we cruise to Rouen.

Discover Rouen on a guided bike tour or take a guided walking tour to explore the home of the martyred Joan of Arc. Visit the medieval quarter with its 16th-century Astronomical Clock and Notre-Dame Cathedral. In the evening, we set sail for Conflans.

Enjoy a relaxing bike ride along the Seine or join a guided visit to Auvers-sur-Oise, the home and resting place of Vincent van Gogh. Alternatively, take a guided tour of the opulent Château de Malmaison, home of Napoléon Bonaparte and his wife Josephine. In the evening, we cruise to Paris.

Experience the Seine river by foot or discover the ancient heart of Paris on a captivating guided walk. Alternatively, join a guided city tour that shows you the iconic sites of Paris, such as the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and more. Stroll through Paris on your own, or linger over wine in a literary café on the Left Bank. We'll dock overnight in Paris.
