We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Today, we journey to the heart of France, visiting the Bourgogne region, renowned for its wines. Our first stop is Beaune, a charming town with flower-filled streets and a fascinating wine museum. We then head to Lyon, the capital of Roman Gallia, where we take a cable car to Notre Dame de Fourvière for a panoramic view of the city. Depending on the group size, we may spend the night in Chambery, a medieval-style city with a beautiful historic center and a grand castle.

In the morning, we embark on a scenic tour of Rome, also known as 'The Eternal City'. We visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the epicenter of Christianity, including St. Peter's Basilica. We also explore the Imperial Forums, a complex of monumental buildings and squares that were the center of political activity in Imperial Rome. In the evening, we head to the Trastevere area, known for its narrow cobbled streets, hidden treasures, and a variety of dining options.
