Begin your journey in the captivating city of Blois. Depending on your arrival time, we suggest a leisurely stroll around the town, soaking in its serene atmosphere and architectural charm. Don't miss the Royal Chateau de Blois, a magnificent residence of several French kings that beautifully showcases the evolution of French architecture from the Middle Ages to the 17th century.

After collecting your bike, embark on a scenic ride through the forest and vineyards of the Mesland appellation. Stop at the Chateau of Chaumont sur Loire, which offers breathtaking views of the Loire River. Continue your journey through the countryside and vineyards, arriving at the picturesque Amboise. Here, explore the royal château, once home to the greatest kings of France and Leonardo Da Vinci.

Leave the banks of the Loire for a while and head towards the picturesque Vouvray vineyards, known for their fine and elegant white wines. Along the way, admire the superb Renaissance private châteaux such as Château de Valmer and Château de Jallanges. Don't miss the opportunity to visit a local wine producer and sample a glass of Vouvray wine.

Today's journey takes you through the vineyards of Montlouis-sur-Loire to the Cher valley and the famous Chateau of Chenonceau. The chateau, straddling the Cher River, was the scene of a famous rivalry in French history. Enjoy a walk in the heart of the gardens and take a moment to relax in the shade of one of the park's huge trees. Overnight in the charming town of Chenonceaux.

Ride along the peaceful Cher river banks to the medieval town of Montrichard. You then leave the Cher Valley behind and enter the vineyards of Touraine via the Château de Fougères-sur-Bièvre, a small fortified castle which perfectly illustrates the local building arts of the 15th century. Your cycling day ends in Cheverny, near the famous château.

Today offers the possibility to visit the Château of Beauregard, famous for its Portrait Gallery. Then continue cycling to the rich and mysterious ‘Sologne’ with its magnificent landscapes: beautiful forests sheltering game, ponds at every crossroads and small private châteaux hidden behind their vineyards or groves. Return to your hotel in Chitenay or Cheverny in the evening.

During this last stage, you will discover the famous sumptuously furnished Château of Cheverny before reaching the prestigious Château of Chambord, a masterpiece of the French Renaissance period with its 440 rooms, built during the reign of Francis I of France. Overnight in Blois.
