The trip is based in a combination of 2-3 star hotels with upgrade options available to 3-4 star hotels or to 4 star chateau-hotels - supplement applies. The standard hotels are generally small and family run with charming atmosphere that will make you feel at home, and mostly centrally located or just a short walk from town centres. You can experience excellent local cuisine and wine, and in the evenings soak up the warm atmosphere of the hotel amenities (dinner packages available - ask your consultant) or walk to the nearby village centres.

You can collect your bikes on the morning of Day 2 - see the joining information above. A bike mechanic will adjust and fit your bike for you.

You will be provided with: pannier (40l), lock, map holder, bike computer and repair kit. The repair kit includes 2 tyre levers, patches, glue, one inner tube and a pump.

Locks will be provided. Please use the locks to secure your cycles every time they are left unattended (particularly overnight). No security deposit is taken for the bikes however you will be expected to pay for a replacement if a bicycle is stolen or damaged.
