Welcome aboard! Your journey begins in the enchanting city of Strasbourg at 5:00 p.m. After a warm welcome cocktail and introduction to our crew, we'll whisk you away to the heart of Strasbourg. Here, you'll be immersed in the festive atmosphere of the city's renowned Christmas markets, one of the oldest in the world, dating back to 1570. The aroma of mulled wine and gingerbread, coupled with the dazzling holiday decorations and towering Christmas tree, truly make Strasbourg the 'capital of Christmas'. After a delightful evening, we'll return to the ship for a delicious dinner before setting sail for the charming town of Breisach.

Day two of our journey takes us on a full-day adventure to the local Christmas markets of Riquewihr and Colmar. In Riquewihr, a picturesque medieval village nestled among vineyards, you'll experience an authentic Christmas market in a truly unique setting. The vibrant colors of the half-timbered houses enhance the postcard-like setting of traditional Alsace. After a delightful lunch in a typical restaurant, we'll head to the charming city of Colmar. Here, we'll visit the Choco-Story chocolate museum, where you can indulge in our favorite sweet treat. The day concludes with a visit to the city's Christmas market before we head back.

On the third day, we'll cruise to Basel while you learn how to make traditional Alsatian Christmas cookies on board. Upon arrival in Basel in the early afternoon, we'll visit the Lackerli Huus for a tasting and tour of the famous sugar-glazed Basler Läckerli and other chocolates and candies. Afterward, you'll have time to explore the largest Christmas market in Switzerland, boasting over 150 vendors and craftspeople. We'll return to the ship for a cup of mulled wine and an evening of Christmas tales.
