Paris and European Capitals

Today, we delve into the history of France with a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles and its beautiful gardens. We then return to Paris and head to Montmartre, a bohemian neighborhood known for its artists and cabarets. A cable car ride (included) takes us up to this charming district. A city tour with a local guide will introduce you to the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris. The day concludes with an optional variety show.

Our day begins in the heart of Paris, with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where you'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor (ticket included). We then enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the River Seine, offering a unique perspective of the city. The afternoon is yours to explore before we depart for Rouen, a city museum renowned for its half-timbered houses, narrow streets, and gothic churches.

We start the day with a stroll through the center of Rouen, admiring its magnificent cathedral and historic streets. We then journey north, crossing the English Channel by ferry to reach Canterbury, England's religious capital with a charming historic center. Our day concludes in London, where you'll have time to explore and admire the illuminated Tower Bridge and modern buildings.

Today, we explore London on a locally guided tour, showcasing the city's style, culture, and history. We'll visit the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace, where we may witness the famous 'Changing of the Guard'. The afternoon is free for you to explore further. In the evening, we'll stroll through Leicester Square, China Town, and Soho, offering a variety of dining options.

After breakfast, we visit the British Museum, one of the oldest museums in the world. We then head to Camden, a district known for its eclectic and extravagant street market. After some leisure time, we depart for Colchester, England's oldest city, before boarding a night ferry to the Netherlands.

Immerse yourself in the local culture with a guided tour of Berlin. We'll visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates, and the city's magnificent parks. We'll also stop at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum, offering insights into the city's turbulent 20th-century history. The evening is yours to explore Kantstrasse, a lively area offering a variety of ethnic dining options.
