12-Day Tour from Paris to Nice Through Vineyards and Mountains

After breakfast, we will travel to Reims to explore its magnificent Gothic cathedral. Next, we will head to the picturesque Champagne region for a delightful champagne tasting at a local vineyard. In the evening, we will arrive in the romantic town of Troyes, where you can wander its charming cobbled streets and half-timbered houses. Accommodation: Hotel Le Royal (or similar). Today, we will embark on a walking tour of Troyes with our expert Tour Leader. After visiting the bustling market, you will have the rest of the day to explore this fairytale town on your own. Discover its narrow lantern-lit lanes and rustic 16th-century buildings. Dinner is at your leisure, with numerous cosy cafes and intimate bistros to choose from. Late in the morning, we will journey to Chablis for a tasting of its renowned dry white wines. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Beaune, where you will have ample time to explore the city's famous Gothic architecture. We will reconvene for a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Hôtel de la Paix (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

After breakfast, we will leave Beaune and head towards the French Alps. We will stop at a family-owned vineyard for a delicious picnic filled with local produce, followed by a guided tour and wine tasting session. Later, we will arrive in Annecy, where our Tour Leader will introduce us to the town's centuries-old history during an orientation walk. Today, we will venture further into the French Alps, traveling to Chamonix. We will take the Brévent cable car for spectacular views of Mont Blanc, the highest point in the Alps. Afterward, you will have free time to explore Chamonix, stroll through the market town, or simply enjoy the fresh alpine air. In the evening, we will return to Annecy for dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Hôtel Hébé (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

After breakfast, the day is yours to spend at leisure in the picturesque alpine town of Annecy. Known for its pedestrianized Old Town, charming canals, magnificent Lake Annecy, and cobbled streets, this lovely town is a must-visit while passing through southeastern France. Accommodation: Hôtel Hébé (or similar). Meals: Breakfast.

Today, we will travel from Annecy to the Drôme region. Along the way, we will stop at a local fromagerie to learn about traditional cheese production in the French Alps and enjoy a tasting session. Later, we will settle into our hand-picked accommodation for the evening, enjoying sumptuous food with excellent company. Accommodation: Auberge de la Plaine (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

After breakfast, we will travel to Gorges du Verdon, Europe's largest canyon, known for its breathtaking scenery. We will stop at Lac de Sainte Croix, a beautiful location surrounded by the French Riviera, Provence, and the Alps. Upon returning to Gréoux-Les-Bains, we will enjoy a farewell dinner to remember. On the final day of our tour, we will travel deeper into the Provençal countryside, stopping at Entrevaux, one of the most beautiful villages in France. You will have free time to stroll the fortified walkways to the ancient Citadel and admire the panoramic views over the valley. We will then continue to Nice, the elite resort and shining capital of the French Riviera, where our journey concludes. Meals: Breakfast.
