Provence Lavender Fields and Vineyards

Today, you'll cycle through the renowned vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, with the opportunity to stop for a tasting. Continue to the village of Roquemaure, where you can explore the remains of a 12th-century castle.

Cycle through the medieval village of Serignan du Comtat, steeped in history, and continue to the town of St Paul les 3 Chateaux. Wander through its old cobbled streets and visit the historical church.

Today's ride takes you to the village of Clansayes, home to the Templar knights tower with panoramic views of the area. Continue to the villages of Colonzelle and La Baume de Transit, where you can explore the remains of a medieval castle.

Travel through the lavender fields around Grignan to La Garde dAdhemar, a classical Provencal village of exceptional beauty. Explore its preserved medieval structure and ramparts. Return to Grignan to visit the beautiful 16-17th century chateau.

Today, visit Vaison, a town of art with a rich cultural heritage. Built in the middle ages and modern times, the town is famous for its ancient Roman foundations and ruins.

Choose between two options for today's ride. Option 1 takes you through the wine villages of Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Beaumes de Venise to Bedoin. Option 2 involves some climbs across the Dentelles de Montmirail. For the adventurous, add a ride up Mont Ventoux, a famous Tour de France climb. Stay at a charming inn on the edge of Bedoin.
