Leave Les Houches behind as you embark on your journey. Take the Bellevue cable car for an easy start to your day, cutting out the first ascent. Traverse through the forest high above the Bionnassay Valley, passing through iconic Alpine hamlets. Marvel at the views of Mont Blanc and the foothills of the Alps. Ascend the Col de Tricot and descend through a series of switchbacks to Chalet de Miage. End your day with a pleasant riverside walk into Les Contamines. Rest for the night in a comfortable 4* hotel (or similar) on a half-board basis.

Start your day with a short transfer to Notre Dame de la Gorge. From there, climb over the Col du Bonhomme and the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme, leading to the Chapieux valley. Over the Aiguille des Glaciers, you'll be surrounded by splendid sights. Depending on availability, you'll either stay overnight in Les Chapieux or Bourg Saint Maurice. If in Bourg Saint Maurice, you'll be transferred from Les Chapieux at 5pm sharp. Your accommodation will be a 2* or 3* hotel (or similar), with half-board or B&B respectively.

If you're staying in Bourg Saint Maurice, you'll be transferred to Ville des Glaciers to start your hike. From there, venture over the Col de la Seigne to the Italian side of the border. Expect spectacular views as you descend with wide open views of the Aiguilles of Peuterey and the Mont Blanc of Courmayeur. You'll spend the night in Refuge Elisabetta (or similar), where only dormitories are available. You'll only need to carry what's needed for the night as your main luggage will be available at the lodging on Day 5.
