Embark on an unforgettable 8-day journey through the breathtaking landscapes of France, Switzerland, and Italy. This self-guided, multi-day tour will take you through iconic panoramas, stunning lakes, lush pastures, and picturesque villages. You'll hike through the majestic Mont Blanc range, cross borders, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. Each day brings a new adventure, from the charming town of Chamonix to the beautiful village of Argentière, the tranquil Champex, and the vibrant Courmayeur. Along the way, you'll stay in comfortable accommodations, enjoy delicious meals, and create memories to last a lifetime.

2 nights in hotels/BBs (incl. breakfast) and 5 nights in a hotel or very comfortable gîte incl. breakfast and dinner (private rooms throughout; most (or all) of them with en-suite private bathrooms (depending on the time of booking);
Roadbook (itinerary description in English and detailed walking maps - 1 set per reservation; access to GPS tracks); 2 nights in hotels (incl. breakfast) and 5 nights in a hotel or very comfortable gîte incl. breakfast and dinner (all rooms are private (no dorms!), and with with private bathroom in most cases (depending on the time of booking); luggage transfers (1 piece per person, max 10-12kg); bus transfer on Day 3;
Tour confirmation (which is always subject to availability with hotels!) time for this tour may normally take anything between 8 and 15 business days (or exceptionally even longer!) dependning on when the order is received (many of the inns are closed in winter and respond only irregularly; orders placed after spring have only minimal chance to get accommodated as the private rooms along the trail get sold out first). If you are in a hurry to get the tour confirmed, and cannot allow enough time to wait (2-3 weeks at least) it is best to consider alternative options.

Begin your adventure in the enchanting city of Chamonix, France. Settle into your accommodation at Hôtel La Vallée Blanche (or similar) and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Take a telecabine to Planpraz and start your independent walking route. Marvel at the iconic panorama of the Mont-Blanc range, Les Bossons Glacier, and the Mer de Glace. Follow the balcony trail to the stunningly beautiful lakes of Chéserys. End the day with a descent to the picturesque village of Argentière, where you'll stay at Hotel La Couronne (or similar) on a half-board basis.

A short bus transfer takes you to Trient, where you'll start today's hiking route. Choose between crossing the pastures of Bovine or taking a more challenging detour via la fenêtre d’Arpette. Regardless of your choice, you'll end the day in the tranquil village of Champex, Switzerland, where you'll stay at Le Splendide (or similar) on a half-board basis.

Catch a local bus to cross the Val Fouly. Your self-guided walking tour continues up through lush pastures to the Grand Col Ferret. Cross the border between Switzerland and Italy and descend to the Italian Val Ferret. End the day with a short bus ride to Courmayeur, where you'll stay at Hôtel Maison St Jean (or similar) on a half-board basis.

Catch a local bus to La Visaille and climb the fascinating Val Veny to the Elisabetta Refuge. Continue up to the Col de la Seigne and cross from Italy back to France. A short deviation brings you to the glacial Lake Miage. End the day in Les Chapieux, where you'll stay in a gîte or refuge (or similar) on a half-board basis.

Reach the highest point of your tour, the Col des Fours, and continue down through the Col du Bonhomme mountain pass. Cross over into the Vallée des Glaciers and descend via the old Roman road to the chapel at Notre Dame de la Gorge in Les Contamines-Montjoie, where you'll stay at Hotel Le Christiania (or similar) on a half-board basis.

Begin the last day of your hiking tour with a transfer to La Gruvaz and an ascent to the Bionnassay Glacier. Choose between two routes: through the village of Champel or via the Col du Tricot. Descend to the village of Les Houches and take a bus to Chamonix, where you'll stay at Hotel La Vallée Blanche (or similar) on a bed and breakfast basis.
