Embark on a captivating multi-day tour that takes you through the picturesque landscapes of France. Starting from the quaint town of Seyssel, you'll cycle along the banks of the Rhone, passing through enchanting villages and towns like Chanaz, Culoz, Belley, and Champagneux. You'll have the opportunity to sample local delicacies, admire stunning architecture, and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of these regions. The tour concludes in the vibrant city of Lyon, where you can indulge in the local cuisine and explore the city's parks, lakes, and contemporary architecture. This tour is a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, offering an unforgettable experience.

5 breakfasts (6 if starting from Geneva) - generally continental style with cereals, bread, cheese, meats, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice
1 dinner - on day 3 (4 if starting in Geneva) - note that this is dependent on staying at our usual hotel (standard and upgrade version) in Villebois. If an alternative hotel is booked, dinner will not be included.
For the 7 day trip starting in Geneva (see itinerary 2 - supplement applies), an extra night's accommodation and breakfast are also included

Leave Seyssel behind as you cycle through ridges and plateaux along the Rhone. Take a break in Chanaz, known as 'La Petite Venise Savoyarde', and enjoy a meal in a charming restaurant by the Canal of Savières. Continue your journey to Culoz and Belley, two peaceful towns rich in heritage, before reaching your destination for the day, Champagneux.

Today's journey takes you through Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers, where you can sample the famous brioche pralines. Take a detour to the village of Glandieu and marvel at the majestic waterfall. Continue your journey through Morestel, exploring its narrow streets, before reaching Villebois, where you'll spend the night.

The final cycling stage takes you through the parks and lakes of Greater Lyon, including Le Grand Large and Miribel-Jonage. Reward yourself with a delicious meal in a 'petit bouchon', a typical Lyon restaurant, before retiring for the night.
