Alpine Escape: Germany, Austria and Italy

Our adventure begins in the vibrant city of Munich. After meeting our expert local Tour Leader and fellow travelers at the hotel, we will settle in for a delightful three-course dinner. Accommodation: Hotel Drei Löwen (or similar). Meals: Dinner.

This morning, we journey to Friedrichshafen, a coastal city renowned for its aviation history. We will visit the Zeppelin Museum, the birthplace of the famous German airship. Next, we head to the medieval city of Meersburg for a walking tour, concluding at the magnificent Meersburg Castle. Later, we travel to Lake Constance, our picturesque home for the next two nights. Accommodation: Hotel Constantia (or similar). Meals: Breakfast.

After breakfast, we embark on a boat tour of the stunning Lake Constance. Our first stop is Mainau Island, also known as The Flower Island, where we explore its lush gardens and Baroque-style castle. Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Unteruhldingen, to see the ancient lake dwellings. The evening is free for you to enjoy a local dinner at your own pace. Our day begins with a scenic stop at Lindau, offering breathtaking views of the colorful city. We then travel to Liechtenstein, the fourth smallest country in Europe, for a city train tour of Vaduz. We will explore the idyllic old town and vineyards, stopping at the historic Red House and Vaduz Castle. The afternoon is free for you to explore Vaduz at your leisure. Welcome to Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps. Our morning begins with a walking tour, where we will see the Triumphal Arch, Imperial Palace, and Golden Roof while learning about the Habsburg dynasty. We then take a cable car to a scenic lookout over the Nordkette mountains. The afternoon is free for you to explore Innsbruck at your own pace. Accommodation: Hotel Grauer Bär (or similar). Meals: Breakfast.

We head south towards Italy, stopping at Bruneck to explore its classic architecture and vibrant atmosphere. After lunch, we continue to Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy's most exclusive ski resort. We visit the Observatory of Helmut Ullrich for a guided sun observation. Tonight, we share our favorite moments over a group dinner. Accommodation: B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci (or similar). Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Today, we take a series of cable cars to the top of Marmolada for stunning 360-degree views of the Dolomites. We then visit the Museum of the Great War in Serauta before returning to Cortina d'Ampezzo for a relaxing afternoon. Accommodation: B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci (or similar). Meals: Breakfast.

We bid farewell to Cortina d'Ampezzo and head to the town of Trento for a walking tour with a local guide. We then travel to Verona, our home for the next two nights. Accommodation: Hotel San Marco (or similar). Meals: Breakfast.

Today, we explore Verona, the city famous for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. We visit Juliet's Balcony and the Verona Arena on a guided tour, followed by a tasting of local wines, cheeses, and meats. Tonight, we enjoy a farewell dinner. All good things must come to an end. After breakfast, we travel to Venice, a city filled with glamour, gondolas, and gelato, where we say our goodbyes. Meals: Breakfast.
