Day 1 – Day 1: Munich to Zell am See via Niedernsill

We start our adventure in Munich, from where we'll be transferred to the charming village of Niedernsill. After a brief orientation and bike setup, we'll cycle through stunning Alpine villages, enjoying the majestic views of the Alps. Our journey continues through the expansive valley and past ancient glacier-carved gorges to Zell am See. Here, you can choose to take an alpine sled down the mountain, take a dip in the lake, or freshen up before a delicious meal at the Grand Hotel (or similar).

Today, we switch gears and take a cable car to the Schmittenhöhe, offering breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains. We'll hike over the hilltops and back, with an optional paragliding experience for the daring. After returning to the hotel, you can choose to cycle along the lake, take a leisurely walk, or enjoy a scenic boat ride on the 'Zeller See'. We'll end the day with a sumptuous meal at the Grand Hotel (or similar).

We start the day with a short transfer to Taxenbach, where we'll experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Salzach River. After the adrenaline rush, we'll enjoy a hearty lunch before setting off on our bikes to Bischofshofen, known for its Four Hills Ski-Jumping event. Our final destination for the day is the picturesque village of Werfen, where you'll have the evening to explore and dine at your leisure. We'll spend the night at the Hotel Obauer (or similar).

Today, we'll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt, where we'll explore the historical salt mines in a unique way - sliding down wooden slides just like the miners did. We'll also kayak on the tranquil waters of the Hallstätter See, taking in views of the idyllic village. After our adventures, we'll stop at a traditional Austrian restaurant for a taste of Schnitzel and noodles. We'll then return to Werfen for the night at the Hotel Obauer (or similar).

We'll start the day with a tour of the Hohenwefen castle and possibly a falconry exhibition. Then, we'll cycle along the Salzach River, passing by flower-decked houses and the stunning Gollinger Waterfall. Our journey continues along tree-lined trails until we reach the enchanting city of Salzburg. You'll have the evening to relax, explore, and dine at your leisure. We'll spend the night at the Imlauer Hotel Pitter Salzburg (or similar).

Today, we'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Salzburg in the morning. The afternoon is yours to explore - visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress, opt for an easy bike ride along the Salzach River to the Hellbrunn palace, or take an optional bus tour to the surrounding areas. You can also visit the 'trick' fountains and the Gazebo from 'The Sound of Music'. We'll end the day with a delightful farewell dinner at the Imlauer Hotel Pitter Salzburg (or similar).

On the final day of our tour, we'll say 'Auf Wiedersehen' to the magical city of Salzburg. We'll arrange a transfer to Munich, which will take about two to three hours. Alternatively, you can choose to be dropped off at the Salzburg train station, airport, or extend your stay in this fascinating city.
