From Tegernsee, hike through alpine pastures via a steep forest trail to the well-known Alpine beer garden Neureuth. Start your day with a walk along the lakeside-adventure-path to Fischhausen. Continue along the Bockerlbahnweg, learning about the former forest railway. Walk to the Spitzingsattel col and then to the picturesque Lake Spitzingsee. Take a break in the historic chalet Wurzhütte before returning by bus to Schliersee.

Take a cable car ride to the summit station on Mount Taubenstein. Walk on a high-altitude path with brilliant views to the Rotwandhaus. If you're up for it, climb to the peak of the Rotwand. Continue to Lake Soinsee with its idyllic location, then along alpine pastures and flowering meadows to Bayrischzell.

The King-Maximilian-path leads you past a waterfall to the Wendelstein-Alp. From there, walk to the summit with its impressive meteorological observatory and along the panorama-loop-path to the Wendelstein cave.
