Your journey begins with a warm welcome meeting and rental bike fitting in the evening. We suggest starting your adventure with a peaceful stroll along the serene lakeside.
Day 2 – Day 2: Aschau to Reit im Winkl

Today, you'll cycle through the town of Aschau, where the majestic Aschau Palace awaits. As you approach the towering mountains, take a break at the idyllic Lake Walchsee in Austria before returning to Germany to reach the climatic spa town of Reit im Winkl, known for its typical Bavarian alpine atmosphere.

Your journey continues along the German Alpine Road, passing by Lake Weitsee. You may even spot a famous biathlon athlete in Ruhpolding during their summer training. Enjoy a lunch break in Inzell, a renowned climatic spa town, before cycling to the famous spa town of Bad Reichenhall. Here, you can indulge in some wellness activities in the thermal bath or take a ride on the world's oldest cable car to the Predigtstuhl, situated 1,600m above sea level.

Today's short stage is packed with fantastic views of the Watzmann mountain as you make your way to Berchtesgaden. Don't miss the chance to visit the Obersalzberg and the famous Kehlsteinhaus. If you're up for a few extra kilometres, cycle along Königssee ache to reach the famous Lake Königssee, where you can enjoy a boat ride and visit the Bartholomä monastery on the foothills of Watzmann.

Today, you'll cross the Bavarian-Austrian border again and head towards the city of Salzburg, known for its many attractions. After an extensive visit, you'll cycle along the Tauern Cycle Path until you reach the charming towns of Laufen and Oberndorf, home to the famous Silent Night Chapel. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the riverside in the evening to end your day.

The first part of today's cycle tour will take you through quaint villages and farms to Lake Waginger See, and further along the river Traun to Traunstein, a town known for its small Hofbrauhaus. Romantic Lake Tüttensee is on your way to the lakeside of Chiemsee. You will follow the path around Lake Chiemsee back to the start of your tour.
