As you continue your journey, you'll pass by the idyllic Lake Walchsee in Austria before returning to Germany. Your destination for the day is the charming spa town of Reit im Winkl, known for its typical Bavarian alpine atmosphere.

Today's route takes you along the German Alpine Road, passing by the beautiful Lake Weitsee. You might even spot a famous biathlon athlete in Ruhpolding during their summer trainings. After a lunch break in Inzell, a renowned climatic spa town, you'll cycle to the famous spa town of Bad Reichenhall. Here, you can indulge in some wellness treatments or take a ride on the world's oldest cable car to the Predigtstuhl, situated 1,600m above sea level.

After exploring Salzburg, you'll cycle along the Tauern Cycle Path until you reach the charming towns of Laufen and Oberndorf. Today's journey takes you through quaint villages and farms to Lake Waginger See. Continue along the river Traun to reach Traunstein, a town known for its small Hofbrauhaus. From there, you'll cycle to the romantic Lake Tüttensee before reaching the lakeside of Chiemsee. Here, you'll follow the path around the lake back to the start of your tour.
