Hop on the train to Mittenwald, a charming city on the border. From there, follow the young Isar River out of the mountain, passing through the quaint villages of Grün and Wallgau. Enjoy the sight of the wild-green river and the Sylvenstein reservoir as you cycle towards the ski resort of Lengries. The trail then runs almost next to the river, leading you to the city of Bad Tölz, known for its fantastic marketplace.

Today, you'll cycle along the long-distance trail from Lake Constance to Lake Königssee, leading you to the famous Tegernsee. This lake is a favorite among the rich and is surrounded by majestic mountains. From Gmünd, you'll have a wonderful view of the lake. On your return trail, don't miss the monastery with its inviting beer garden.

Today's journey takes you past the former king's spa resort of Heilbrunn and onto the famous monastery in the village of Benediktbeuern. This monastery boasts a long history of 1250 years and offers guided tours. After your visit, continue to Lake Kochelsee, passing through beautiful moorlands adorned with a variety of flowers and plants.

The village of Murnau, situated next to Lake Staffelsee, is your destination today. You have two options for today's tour. You can either take the train to Lake Starnberg and return to Murnau passing through the 'blue land' with many little lakes, or you can opt for a roundtrip cycle tour in the blue land.

Today, you'll cycle through the large moorland around Murnau, offering a wonderful experience. Afterwards, follow the Loisach River back into the mountains. The trail leads you through an alpine pasture-like landscape directly into the city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

After all the biking, it's time for a well-deserved rest day. Spend the day exploring Garmisch-Partenkirchen at your own pace. You could take a train up Mount Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany, or enjoy a local boat trip on Lake Eibsee. Don't miss the chance to walk through the famous Partnach Gorge. Alternatively, you could simply relax in the spa garden while listening to a concert.

On the final day of your tour, take the train to Munich or choose to extend your stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. As you depart, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories you've made during this incredible Bavarian cycling adventure.
