E bike trip Switzerland, Austria and Italy, Guided cycling from Glacier to Garda Lake

Start your journey with a scenic mountain train ride from Sankt Moritz to Morteratsch. Your accommodation for the night is a charming mountain lodge-style hotel located at the foot of the Morteratsch Glacier. The soothing sound of the wild running water will lull you to sleep. If you arrive early, you'll receive a mountain pass for free access to public transport and all cable cars in the Engadin region. End your day with a warm welcome dinner at the hotel.

Begin your day with a transfer to Sils im Engadin, where you'll embark on your first bike ride. Cycle along the lakes towards St. Moritz, a city beloved by the rich and famous. Take a stroll down the shopping street and marvel at the grand hotels that hark back to a bygone era. You can either take a train back to the hotel or continue cycling. If you choose the latter, you'll have the chance to take a cable car up to Muottas Muragl for a breathtaking view of the mountains, glaciers, and seas.

Today's adventure involves conquering a mountain pass. The 12 km climb is a breeze on an e-bike but a challenge on a regular bike. Take a break halfway to ride a cable car to the viewing point of the Morteratsch Glacier. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely cycle along the Inn River towards Zernez. If you've had your fill of climbing, you can end your tour in Zuoz and take a van or train to our hotel in Zernez. For those seeking more adventure, continue along a forest path that winds up and down the foot of the mountains.

Today is one of the most challenging days of biking. Start by following the river from Zernez to Lavin, then climb a quiet gravel road up to Guarda. If you're not into climbing, a shuttle from Zernez is available. After lunch, continue through Ardez and Ftan, both villages on the hills. The reward for your effort is not only the charming villages and stunning views but also a thrilling 3.5 km descent down to Scuol. From Scuol, take two buses to Nauders in Austria for a good night's sleep.

Today involves a slow climb to the Reschenpass, where you'll enter Italy. From here, it's a pleasant downhill ride, giving you ample time to enjoy the views, meadows, and villages. Soon, you'll reach a wider valley filled with apple orchards, through which your path takes you. Your hotel for the night is in Schlanders/Silandro, a beautiful village in the region.

Today's journey takes you along a gorgeous cycle path following the river and crossing orchards. As you approach the end of the valley, the town of Meran comes into view, and you'll descend into the South Tirol region via a series of hairpin curves. Arrive in Meran early to enjoy an afternoon in this Italian city, exploring its old inner city dating from the middle ages and belle epoque buildings. You might also like to visit the Meran Therme (Spa).

After leaving the bustling city of Meran, cycle along the Adige River down to Bolzano. Here, you'll take a short visit to the center of the old town. After lunch, enter the bike path along the vineyards. The lush green scenery of apple orchards and vineyards, punctuated by a lake, makes for a picture-perfect paradise. This day is full of sightseeing and cycling, and you'll arrive at your hotel just in time for dinner.

On your last day of biking, head for Riva del Garda. A bus takes you over the hill, and you start cycling through the valley that ends at the lake level. As you enter Riva del Garda, you'll feel the Italian vibes with gelato and pizza all around. This tourist hotspot has been a favorite for many decades. Your hotel, located at the harbor in the heart of the town, is the perfect spot to relax. Enjoy a farewell dinner tonight, Italian style: on the terrace, with a view over the harbor.

On this last day of our trip, the choice is yours! We suggest a boat trip to one of the other lovely villages and find a nice market. But there's more to explore! Your guides leave after breakfast and take the bikes with them.
