We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Today, we'll explore the enchanting valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, two rivers steeped in history and dotted with charming villages. We'll embark on a short cruise on the Rhine, sailing between the picturesque villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar. Afterward, we'll journey to the Mosel river, stopping for lunch in the scenic village of Cochem, overlooked by a majestic castle with a history spanning over a thousand years. Our next stop is Cologne, where we'll marvel at the city's impressive Gothic cathedral and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Rhine River and through the bustling city center. We'll end the day in Dortmund, where we'll rest for the night.

Today, we'll journey through the enchanting towns of the Fairytales Route, which inspired the tales of the Brothers Grimm. Our first stop is Trendelburg, a charming walled village dominated by a large medieval castle, where we'll visit the Rapunzel Tower. We'll then traverse small roads and forests, reminiscent of the story of 'Hansel and Gretel', before stopping for lunch in Hoxter, a lively town home to the ancient Corvey Abbey, a World Heritage Site. We'll make a brief stop in Polle to photograph the exterior ruins of 'Cinderella's' castle, before continuing to Hamelin, famous for the story of 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin'. We'll end the day in Hannover, where we'll have some time to explore the city center and take a walk next to the old town hall.

Our journey continues to Goslar, one of Germany's most beautiful villages, renowned for its wooden architecture, walls, and squares. After a leisurely walk, we'll proceed to Quedlinburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historic center filled with over 2100 half-timbered girder houses that have survived for centuries. You'll also get to see the town hall and castle. After some free time for a walk and lunch, we'll continue to Berlin, arriving in the evening.
Day 5 – Day 5: Exploring Berlin

Today, we'll delve into the local culture with a guided tour of Berlin, Germany's incredible capital. We'll visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, and the city's magnificent parks. We'll also stop at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. Optionally, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Potsdam area with its beautiful palaces.

Enjoy some free time in Berlin before we depart at 11:30 for the city of Rostock. Here, we'll board a ferry for a two-hour crossing of the Baltic Sea towards Denmark. Enjoy the cruise on this modern ship. After arriving in Denmark, we'll continue through pleasant landscapes before reaching Copenhagen at the end of the day.
Day 7 – Day 7: Exploring Copenhagen

In the morning, we'll embark on a city tour of Copenhagen, the largest Scandinavian city, with a local guide. We'll explore the popular Tivoli, Christianborg Palace, the terraces of Nyhavn, and the iconic Mermaid statue. In the afternoon, you'll have some free time to further explore this vibrant city.
Day 8 – Day 8: Helsingor, Jonkoping, Vadstena, and Stockholm

We'll depart Copenhagen and head towards Helsingor, the city of Hamlet, where the grand Kronborg Castle stands. We'll then take a short ferry ride to Sweden. We'll travel through beautiful landscapes with large lakes and lush forests until we reach Jonkoping, a modern and small city located next to a large lake. After some time to explore and have lunch, we'll continue to Vadstena, a picturesque town next to the lake with its old houses and a large 14th-century castle that was converted into a monastery. We'll end the day in Stockholm, arriving in the evening.
Day 9 – Day 9: Exploring Stockholm

Today, we'll take a sightseeing tour of Stockholm, a beautiful capital city built on 14 islands. We'll explore the Gamla Stand or the 'City between the Bridges', the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Museum. Whenever possible, we'll enjoy a pretty view from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Then you'll have some leisure time. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, we suggest a visit to the City Hall and to the Vasa museum.
