Proceed through dense forests and extensive fields to the Mariabuchen monastery. A splendid path through the Mount Romberg nature reserve leads you to the charming town of Lohr. Explore the historic center, following the tracks of Snow White. End your day with a comfortable stay at the Boutique-Hotel Bundschuh (or similar).

The final day of your hiking week is once again in the forests of Spessart. Walk through a convoluted rock labyrinth via the 'Old School Route', an historic connecting trail, until you reach the highest point of your hiking holiday at the Geißhöhe-peak. Unspoilt trails lead you on gently undulating terrain below the leaf canopy all the way to Henneburg castle, towering high above the glistening river Main. This marks the end of your hiking adventure in the Spessart. Rest for the night at the Hotel Wilder Mann (or similar).
