Leave Munich behind and follow the Isar River, passing by monasteries and through quaint Bavarian villages. Your destination for the day is the rafting town of Bad Tölz, known for its picturesque old town.
Day 3 – Day 3: Bad Tölz to Jenbach/Schwaz

Continue your journey along the Isar to Sylvensteinsee. Cross the German-Austrian border through the Karwendel Nature Park and reach the Achensee vacation region. Depending on availability, you'll stay overnight in either Jenbach or Schwaz.

Cycle from Jenbach or Schwaz along the River Inn to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. Explore the historic old town, visit the famous Golden Roof, or take a trip to the Bergisel with its ski jump. From Innsbruck, a train transfer will take you to the Brenner Pass, the border between Austria and Italy. Cycle along the old railroad line to the Fugger town of Sterzing and on to Franzensfeste and Mühlbach.

From Mühlbach, cycle through the Pustertal valley, past the Mühlbacher Klause, a former border post. Along the river Rienz, you'll reach Bruneck and then Dobbiaco, your stage destination for the day. Here, we offer a bike pit stop to check your bike.
Day 6 – Day 6: Dobbiaco to Cortina d'Ampezzo

Follow the cycle path through the Höhlensteintal valley past Lake Dobbiaco and the war cemetery. Enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Three Peaks before reaching Lake Dürrensee. The bike path leads to the border of the provinces of Bolzano and Belluno, and then to the Dolomite town of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
