6 Day Tour by Little Trains of Greece & Combine visit at Meteora, Delphi, Kalavryta & Olympia

We begin our journey at 09:00, heading towards the mainland coast to Peloponnese. Our first stop is the impressive Canal of Corinth, followed by a visit to the ancient city of Corinth, beloved by Saint Paul. We then board the Cog Railway for a scenic ride through the stunning Vouraikos Canyon, ending in the town of Kalavryta. Here, we explore the unique Cave of the Lakes before heading to the romantic town of Nafplio for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we have the option to visit the Palamidi Castle or take a boat to the fortress of 'Bourtzi'. We then head to Epidaurus to visit the Ancient Theatre, renowned for its incredible acoustics. Our journey continues to the ancient town of Mycenae, where we explore the Archaeological site, including the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the tomb of Agamemnon. We end the day in Ancient Olympia for an overnight stay.

We start the day with a short stop at the coastal town of Gythio before heading to Areopolis and Diros, known for its stunning subterranean caves. We then visit the beautiful coastal villages of Stoupa and Kardamili. After a scenic train ride from Olympia to Katakolon, we explore the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology and enjoy a coffee by the sea. We then cross the Rion – Antirion bridge to Naupactus, where we visit the Venetian Castle and Port. We end the day in Delphi for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we visit the Ancient Oracle, the Stadium, and the Ancient Theatre of Delphi, followed by the Museum of Delphi. We then head to the mountainous village of Arachova, known for its traditional character and famous cheese. After a quick stop in the city of Trikala, we arrive in Kalambaka, a charming town nestled at the foot of the majestic Meteora Monasteries, where we spend the night.

We start the day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Meteora Monasteries, including the Varlaam and St. Stephan Monasteries. We then head to the 'Pelion area', known as the summer habitat of the twelve gods of Olympus. We visit the village of Portaria, a complex of traditional villages with breathtaking views. After checking in, you have free time to explore the village, its cobblestone trails, and delicious local cuisine. We spend the night in Pelion.

After breakfast, we take a scenic train ride from Ano Lechonia to Milies, passing through beautiful landscapes and architectural landmarks. In Milies, we visit the Church of Taxiarhes and the Museum of Folk Art. We then return to Athens, passing by the towns of Domokos and Kamena Vourla, and making a stop at Thermopiles to see the statue of Leonidas. We reach Athens in the late afternoon, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.
