We were at the Acropolis on September 29th, a very hot day. Our guide, Antigoni, was wonderful! She bypassed the lines of people and found shade for us to rest in while she told us about the fascinating myths and history of the place, and pointed out other important sites in the distance. She had pictures of what the original Parthenon may have looked like that helped us to visualize this temple as it once was. Overall it was a great experience for our limited time in Athens.
