Amazing Santorini - Full-Day Private Tour

I was lucky enough to have been on the day tour with our guide Dimitris P. He was absolutely brilliant with his information and insights about the beautiful Santorini. The tour was a great experience and all we had hoped for. To end our tour I want to say thank you to Dimitris for going above and beyond… I left my phone on the bus and as we drove off in the water taxi I realized that I had left it in my seat. We immediately called Dimitris who called the bus driver. Met and secured my phone, then took it to the old port and down the mountain to get it to a Norwegian Cruise representative I was able to pick it up the next morning at the ship’s guest service desk. Dmitris was the highlight of our time in Santorini. He picked us up for a half day excursion where he took us all over the South Island to the lighthouse, many villages, and ended at Santos Winery. He was extremely knowledgeable and proud of his work. We loved our day! Highly recommend booking and requesting him.

Santorini was a a zoo as thousands get dumped off cruise boats by tender and either walk up 600 stairs, ride a donkey up 600 stairs or wait in line to ride the gondola up hill. This took some time!

Great communication from the start, our driver/guide was great and you could tell has pride for his home island. Day overall went smooth and we saw a lot of sites away from the cruise boat shopping area.

Exception service: when we were dropped off we left behind a cell phone in the van. We realized we’d lost it on about step 500 out of 600 on our walk down ( line for gondola was really long). We were able to immediately reach our guide who connected us with Dimitris. I provided a hotel name/address in Athens where we were headed next for a few days. The tour operator express serviced our phone to Athens. This was way above and beyond and very much appreciated. This is a great tour with great customer service would use this provider again.

Apostol, who was an outstanding tour guide drove us around the entire island showing us the highlights and informing us of the history and the culture. He went above and beyond and even let us stop at Santos for a quick wine tasting with a beautiful view.

This is a must do tour in Santorini and if you are lucky you will have Apostolos as your guide. He was amazing, very knowledgeable about the island and extremely accommodating to ensure my family had an amazing time. Flexible, patient and a great source of information. He took us to an incredible beach and he made sure we had enough time at each of the stops. All 5 of us agreed that this tour made our week and we fell in love with Santorini. We will be back! Angelo was a fabulous tour guide. He was timely, took us to the most picturesque locations. We enjoyed our day with him in Santorni and we learned alotof the history or the cities. .

My family of 5 (ages 11 - 67 years) booked a 6 hour custom tour during our cruise port stop and the day was so wonderful. We saw a lot and never felt rushed. Our very informative and considerate guide, Theodore, had our comfort and interests in mind at all times. It was a very hot day for us so we appreciated getting dropped off as close to the highlights as possible when Theodore had to go find parking nearby which saved us the extra walking in the heat. Communication from the time of booking until the end of our tour was excellent. Theo is very knowledgeable. I recommend this tour. It definitely met, if not exceeded expectations.
