We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Welcome to Greece! Upon your arrival at Athens Airport, our representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to your hotel in Athens. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, settling into your accommodation and exploring the city at your own pace. In the evening, join your guide and fellow travelers for a welcome meeting.

Begin your day with a guided city tour of Athens. Visit the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos Stadium, and the bustling squares of the city center. Explore the neighborhoods that emerged after the 2004 Olympic games and finish your tour at the iconic Acropolis site. In the evening, we'll transfer you to the Plaka area, known for its small Greek bars and rich folklore.

Depart Athens early in the morning and head north. Our first stop is the seaside town of Kamena Vourla, known for its beautiful landscapes. We then continue to the site of the Battle of Thermopylae for a brief stop. Next, we visit the picturesque village of Kastráki, offering stunning views of the valley. After lunch, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Meteora Valley, including a visit to one of its famous monasteries. We end the day with dinner in the town of Kalambaka.

Today, we journey south through the Thessaly region to the town of Delphi. Here, we visit the archaeological complex that overlooks the Gulf of Corinth. After lunch, we continue to the Osios Loukas Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent 11th-century mosaics. We conclude the day with a return to Athens, arriving in the evening.

Day 6 – Day 6: Mediterranean Cruise to Mykonos

After breakfast, we transfer you to the Port of Lavrio to embark on a full-day Mediterranean cruise. Enjoy the sea views as we set sail at 11 a.m. Our first stop is the island of Mykonos, known for its windmills and white houses by the sea. You'll have free time to explore the island before we depart at 23:00 for an overnight journey on board.

Our cruise continues with an early morning arrival in Kusadasi, on the Turkish coast. Here, you'll have the opportunity to shop in the bazaars and take an excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. We then set sail for the island of Patmos, where you can visit the cave where St John wrote the Apocalypse and the nearby Monastery of the Apocalypse. We depart Patmos at 21:00 for another night on board.

Our cruise arrives in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, at 07:00. Here, you can explore the archaeological remains of Knossos. We depart at 11:30 for our next stop, Santorini. Arriving at approximately 16:30, you'll have time to explore this stunning island, known for its white villages and impressive sea views. We depart Santorini at 21:00 for our last night on board.

Our tour concludes as we arrive at the Port of Lavrio at 07:30. From here, you can continue your journey or extend your stay in Athens. Please note that if you're arriving by ferry from Rhodes Island, your arrival port will be Piraeus. If you request additional nights in Athens, a transfer from the port to the hotel is not included and will be invoiced.
