We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Today, we delve into the heart of Athens with a city tour guided by a local expert. We'll visit the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium, the national library, and the bustling squares of the city center. The tour concludes at the iconic Acropolis. In the evening, we'll head to the Plaka area, known for its quaint Greek bars and rich folklore.

Today, we journey to the Peloponnese region, stopping briefly at the impressive Corinth Channel. We continue through the mountains to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region, where you'll have time to explore the Plaza Areos area. Our next stop is Olympia, where we'll visit the archaeological site, the birthplace of the first Olympic Games. We end the day in Patras, a lively port city known for its medieval fortress and the largest church in Greece. Dinner is included.

After breakfast, we cross the spectacular Rio-Antirrio bridge to Nafpaktos, a city with a rich history and picturesque harbor. We then continue along the Gulf of Corinth to Mycenae, a colossal 18th-century BC citadel. After some free time for lunch, we visit the fortress of Acrocorinth, where the foundations of an old temple of Aphrodite rest. We make a brief stop at the Corinth Canal before returning to Athens in the evening.

Today is a free day for you to explore Athens at your own pace. Discover the city's charm, visit its numerous historical sites, or simply relax and enjoy the vibrant city life.
Day 6 – Day 6: Mediterranean Cruise to Mykonos

After breakfast, we transfer you to the port of Lavrio to embark on a full-day Mediterranean cruise. Enjoy the stunning sea landscapes as we sail towards Mykonos, the island of windmills and white houses by the sea. You'll have free time to explore this beautiful island before we depart at 23:00 for an overnight journey on board.

Today, we arrive in Kusadasi, a beautiful seaside resort on the Aegean coast of Turkey. We recommend visiting the imposing classical ruins of Ephesus. We then return to the cruise ship to continue our journey to Patmos, the island where the Apostle St. John wrote the Apocalypse. We depart at 21:00 for an overnight journey on board.

We arrive in Rhodes at 07:00. This impressive walled city was once protected by one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: The Colossus of Rhodes. We include a visit to Medieval Rhodes before departing at 18:00. Enjoy the rest of the day on board as our cruise ship sails out to the sea.

We arrive in Heraklion, the capital of the Greek island of Crete, at 07:00. Here, you can explore the archaeological remains of Knossos. In the middle of the morning, we continue to Santorini, one of the most impressive islands in the Mediterranean. Enjoy breathtaking views over the sea and the island's white villages. We depart at 21:00 for an overnight journey on board.
