We know how important hotels are on your trip. The hotels have been selected taking into consideration quality, price and location. They are located in the cities we visit, most of them not in the city center but all of them with easy access to public transportation nearby. Our accommodation is not based on luxury hotels. Please keep in mind that standards, bed sizes and room dimensions can vary between hotels of the same class in different locations. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and TV. Some of them also offer a mini-bar, safe box, and hair dryer. Many hotels, mainly in North Europe, do not have air conditioning or local legislation establishes limited dates of use.

Welcome to the start of your exciting journey! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will arrange a transfer to your hotel. Once you've settled in, check the hotel's information boards for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

We kick off our journey with a visit to the Peloponnese region, stopping by the impressive Corinth Channel. We then head through the mountains to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region. After a brief stop, we continue to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where we explore the archaeological site. Our day concludes in Patras, the third most populous city in Greece, known for its vibrant port and remarkable medieval fortress. Dinner is included.

After breakfast, we cross the spectacular Rio-Antirrio bridge to reach Nafpaktos, a city with a rich history. We then continue along the Gulf of Corinth to Mycenae, a colossal citadel from the 18th century BC. After exploring the fortress of Acrocorinth, we make a short stop at the Corinth Canal before arriving in Athens in the evening.

Day 5 – Day 5: Sightseeing in Athens and Overnight Ferry to Rhodes

In the morning, we embark on a sightseeing tour of Athens, visiting the modern city, the Panathinaikos Stadium, and the Royal Palace. After some free time, we transfer you to the port of Piraeus to board the overnight ferry to Rhodes. The ferry offers similar facilities to those on cruise ships, ensuring a comfortable journey.

We start the day with a city tour of Rhodes, exploring its walled city and the old quarter. In the afternoon, we take an express ferry to Marmaris, a beautiful coastal tourist enclave in Turkey. We spend the night in the region of Marmaris, with dinner included.

We depart for Dalyan, a beautiful place next to a navigable river. We include a boat ride to see the Royal Lycian Tombs and continue to a large lake where you can swim in warm waters or take a mud bath. After lunch, we continue to Antalya, a coastal city of over a million inhabitants. We visit Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman district, and its great waterfall. Dinner is included.

We leave Antalya and head towards Aspendos, where we visit the Roman theatre, considered one of the best preserved in the world. We then visit Side, where we admire the Greek temple of Apollo by the sea. After traversing breathtaking landscapes and crossing the Taurus mountains, we stop in Karaman to see its fortress. We continue to the Cappadocia region and end our day in Nigde. Dinner is included.

We spend a full day in the fantastic region of Cappadocia, known for its lunar landscapes, churches, and troglodyte villages. We start by visiting Gumusler, an incredible underground monastery, and Kaimacli, an underground city that could house 30,000 people. We also visit Uchisar, a natural fortress, and the Goreme Valley with its open-air museum and churches carved out of the rocks. We spend the night in Avanos, with dinner included.

We visit the Ihlara Valley at the far end of Cappadocia, known for the freshness of its waters, its churches, and villages excavated in the rock. We then stop at an old Caravanserai from the 13th Century before arriving in Konya where we visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana (Rumi). Here we learn about the sect of the Dervishes. Dinner is included.

We take a scenic road between the lakes to reach Egridir, a beautiful town next to a large lake. After some time for lunch, we continue to Pamukkale-Hierapolis, whose calcareous waters have created the Cotton Castle. Dinner is included.

We leave for Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city of Asia Minor. We discover the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of Saint John, and the impressive ruins at Ephesus. We then go on to Kusadasi, a popular coastal town with a lot of atmosphere and a small castle. Dinner is included.

We leave for Izmir, the city with the fourth largest population in Turkey. We make a brief visit to this city, considered the most westernized and modern city in the country. We then return to inland Turkey, stopping en route for lunch before reaching Bursa, the fourth largest city in Turkey. We arrive in Istanbul at the end of the day.

We embark on a sightseeing tour of Istanbul, visiting the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent, the largest in Istanbul. We also see the city walls, the Golden Horn, the fishing district, and admire the exterior of Hagia Sofia. We then visit the Top Kapi Palace, the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. In the evening, we transfer you to the Taksim neighborhood, the most commercialized and lively area of the city.
Day 15 – Day 15: Boat Trip on the Bosphorus

Today we include a boat trip on the Bosphorus that will last about two hours. We will enjoy seeing the liveliness of the strait with its multitude of boats. We will pass under the two bridges that unite Europe and Asia and admire the palaces of the sultans, the typical wooden houses, and the Ottoman villas. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Istanbul.
