The tour to temple of Poseidon was a wonderful day trip from Athens on a tour bus. Beautiful scenery landscapes on the way there & to the beautiful sea.the clouds over Poseidon made a gorgeous portrait that made you think of heaven. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking . I was able to get shots of my grandson with sunset in the distance for his graduation pictures. Our exsperiance there was even more than I could have imaged.i hope to go back again someday and take more granchildren.

i’ve wanted to see the temple of poseidon for so long and was thrilled when i found this tour. you get to see the riviera on the way and enjoy the scenery. but the temple is something special in my opinion, would recommend to take the trip!

We had a great time on our trip with CHAT tours. The day started off a little rough as we had confused our pickup time and missed our pickup… this was our mistake. Hara at Chat tours went out of her way to get us on a different tour later that day. She certainly didn’t have to do this as it was our mistake, so I really appreciate their willingness to work with us.
The tour was excellent, very informative great to see the coastline outside of Athens. The guide was also fantastic in accommodating my father in law who has limited mobility.
Definitely would recommend!

Our tour guide, Jordan, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The sanctuary is so beautiful to see in the afternoon. Wish we could’ve stayed a bit longer. Two thumbs up and five stars. Would definitely recommend and would go again!

The tour guide was fun and knowledgeable, the driver was excellent. (Drivers in Greece can be scary but this guy was great!)
It was about 90 minute drive in each direction and about 1 hour at the Temple of Poseidon, which for us was plenty of time

The coach was quite comfortable and our guide was very knowledgeable. Good tour. As a bonus, we saw a tortoise and a mama partridge with her babies.

As a review I wanted to break down each element to help others:
1. Collection: Lots of choices on the website and we selected a local collection point. Chats arrived on time as stated and was a very easy process.
2. Coach & Trip: It is a long trip (hour and a half) but the coach was very comfortable and clean. The ride was very smooth. I would say sit on the right side of the coach on the way out of Athens as you get to see more of the scenery. Just be warned on the way back you could be stuck in traffic.
3. Tour Guide: Our guide was excellent. She explained different landmarks on both legs of the journey as well as historical information. At the temple she talked us through the location before leaving us to do our own thing. She was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour.
4. The Temple: Fantastic and beautiful. Just be warned you will be there between 30-45 minutes before heading back. Still this was plenty of time.
5. Drop Off: If you want to be dropped off in central Athens they are happy to do this and they are very accommodating.
Overall: Absolutely fantastic experience and great guide.
